🔑 What separates a good LinkedIn post from a great one? Great posts aren’t just read....... They’re shared, discussed, and remembered. Here’s the formula to elevate your content: 1️⃣ Hook Them Early ✨ Use the first 2–3 lines to grab attention. Example: “The biggest LinkedIn mistake? It’s not what you think.” 2️⃣ Deliver Value ✨ Focus on educating, inspiring, or solving a problem for your audience. Example: “After running 50 campaigns, here’s what I’ve learned about LinkedIn’s algorithm.” 3️⃣ Create Conversations ✨ End with a CTA that sparks comments. Example: “Agree or disagree with these tips? Let’s discuss below!” 4️⃣ Polish for Readability ✨ Use short paragraphs, bullet points, and white space to make your post easy to skim. Why It Works: ✅ Hooks draw readers in. ✅ Value keeps them engaged. ✅ CTAs build relationships. Final Thought 🌟 Great posts don’t just inform, they connect. They make your audience feel seen, heard, and ready to engage. What’s your formula for creating LinkedIn content that stands out? Let’s discuss it! 🚀 #LinkedInTips #ContentThatConnects #EngagementSuccess

You put so much effort into your posts, but no one engages with them! You spend hours crafting content. You hit ‘Post’ with high hopes. And then…crickets. It’s not a content problem. It’s a visibility problem. Here’s what most people don’t realize about LinkedIn: ➡️ Your post isn’t reaching new people it’s reaching people who already engage with you. ➡️ If the same 10-15 people engage every time, your content is stuck in a loop. ➡️ And if you’re not actively expanding your network’s reach, your content will never break out of that loop. So instead of just posting and hoping for the best, try this growth strategy before hitting ‘Post’: 1. Break the Loop • Engage outside your usual circle comment on posts where you’ve never interacted before. • Target engagement-heavy posts (the ones with 50+ comments) so more people see your name. 2. Hijack the Algorithm • The first 60 minutes of posting determine your reach. • So engage on 5+ posts right before you post this signals LinkedIn that you’re “active” and boosts your visibility. 3. Pull People In, Don’t Push Content Out • After posting, DM 5-7 people who’d find it valuable (without being spammy). • Example: “Hey xyz , I remember you mentioned struggling with [problem]. Just shared a post on this would love to know what you think!” Try this today be consistent and come back to tell me if you see a difference! And if you’re tired of guessing how to grow, book a 1:1 LinkedIn session with me where I help you: ✅ Fix your content strategy ✅ Build authority in your niche ✅ Get consistent engagement & inbound leads Check the first comment for the direct link!!! #LinkedInGrowth #ContentStrategy

I left LinkedIn because of LinkedIn to build a business about LinkedIn...

I’m ex-LinkedIn, and this is the reason why your impressions have plummeted. Firstly, nobody knows *exactly* how the LinkedIn algorithm works. Yes, that includes me. Anyone claiming to know either works inside LinkedIn's engineering team, is married/related to them, or outright lying. Even when I was still working at LinkedIn, I couldn’t find out how my own content was distributed. That's how much emphasis they put on protecting fairness and stopping anyone from gaming the system. But I know enough from the inside to tell you what’s myth, what’s noise, and what’s actually happening. ___ 👽 Myth 1: LinkedIn lowered your reach to sell Boosts. → Plausible, but unlikely. Killing trust = killing the platform = Substack wins. 👽 Myth 2: Video is being prioritised, so your text posts got throttled. → If this was true, video impressions would be skyrocketing. They’re not. 👽 Myth 3: LinkedIn is silencing women. → LinkedIn's new LLM is biased, yes. But there is zero commercial incentive for LinkedIn to suppress women’s reach. 👽 Myth 4: Engagement pods got nuked, so everyone's impressions dropped. → Yes, Pods are being tackled but that doesn’t explain why everyone saw a drop. 👽 Myth 5: There’s simply more content due to AI. → True… but still not strong enough to cause a platform-wide reach dip overnight. 👽 Myth 6: Your SSI Score is low.  → SSI doesn’t control distribution per se. It’s a spam-prevention score. ___ 💡 What has ACTUALLY changed? → LinkedIn shifted how it analyses and distributes your content with its new, very own LLM. → The feed now behaves more like a “For You” page similar to TikTok/Instagram/etc. 💡 How does it all work? → The system looks at who you are, what you post, and what you engage with. → Then it groups you with people “similar” to you. → It shows your content to them, not just your network. → Your older posts stay alive longer if the system believes they’re relevant. ‼️ LinkedIn has become less network-based distribution and more persona-based distribution. 💡 What does this mean for you? Your impressions dropped because your audience changed without you realising it. ✅ Pros: You connect with more people like you and your feed becomes an echo chamber. ❌ Cons: You stop seeing, and being seen by, your ideal customers or the network you spent years building relationships with. 💡 What to do about it? My explanations in this post are massively oversimplified. There is a lot more nuance and additional context to take into account. That’s why I’m running a free webinar on the 11th Dec at 4pm GMT, deep diving into: → What actually changed inside the feed. → Why your impressions dropped. → How to get your content back in front of the right people. → Practical steps you can take immediately. Day 3 of teaching A to Z of Linkedin .Today is “C for Content that goes Viral” Let’s get real if profile is the body of your LinkedIn, then content is the soul. I’ve been creating content on LinkedIn for over 3 years now and here’s what I know for sure: ✔️ Content builds visibility. ✔️ Content builds credibility. ✔️ Content builds community. But wait, not all content performs equally. Let’s break it down: 📌 What kind of content works on LinkedIn? ✅ Personal Experiences with Professional Learnings Posts that start with “I failed at...” or “I learned this the hard way...” often get 3x more engagement. Vulnerability + Value = Viral. ✅ Carousels with Clear Value People love to learn. Give them step-by-step guides, templates, or tips. Tools I’ve used? ChatGPT, Canva, and Notion. ✅ Contrarian Opinions Don’t be afraid to question the norm. My most viral posts? When I said, “Don’t romanticize overworking in your 20s.” Be bold, but respectful. ✅ Industry Breakdown & Trends Whether you're in finance, design, tech, or marketing ,educate your audience about what's changing. Format it like “What’s new in ___ this week?” or “X things I wish I knew before joining ___.” 📌 How often should you post? There’s no one-size-fits-all answer. But here’s a solid starting point: Beginner: 2x a week Intermediate: 3–4x a week Advanced/Creator: Daily (5x a week is ideal) More than consistency, clarity and relevance matter. 📌 Structure of a High-Performing LinkedIn Post: 1. Hook (Line 1–2): Grab attention. Make people stop scrolling. Example: “I was rejected 17 times before I landed my dream job at AmEx.” 2. Story or Insight (Lines 3–8): Tell a story, share context, add emotion or lessons. Make it relatable. 3. Value/Framework (Lines 9–12): Give something they can use. A mindset, a tip, a list, or a reflection. 📌 CTA : End with: “What’s your take?” “Would you do this differently?” “Comment below with your experience.” 📌 Common Mistakes to Avoid: 🚫 Posting only when you need something 🚫 Turning your post into a CV 🚫 Using too many hashtags (3–5 max) 🚫 Copy-pasting viral templates with zero originality 🚫 Not engaging with comments on your post 📌 My 3-Post Challenge for You: If you’re just starting out , here's your content roadmap for the next 7 days: 📌 Post 1: Talk about a challenge you faced & what you learned 📌 Post 2: Share 5 tools that help you be more productive 📌 Post 3: Reflect on a book, podcast, or reel that changed your mindset Any guesses or suggestions for tomorrow's word :D ? Let’s build your voice, one post at a time. #LinkedInTips #ContentStrategy #PersonalBranding #riyagadhwal #linkedin

Yes companies are hiring, but... Competition is high. So I asked some clients who landed jobs what worked. Here are 7 ways you can stand out from the crowd (from what they shared): 1/ Make an Entrance with Video - Record a Loom video to introduce yourself and your skills; share it with hiring managers, recruiters, people you're trying to network with. - Double down by sending a personalized video as a heartfelt ‘thank you’ post-interview. 2/ Share Your Voice - Utilize LinkedIn's audio messages to add a human touch to networking (Mobile-only, connections only). - Being underutilized, this can lead to surprisingly high response rates! 3/ Map Out Your Success - Draft a 30-60-90 day plan outlining your goals and strategies for the role. - Share during interviews to exhibit proactive thinking and engage in constructive dialogue. 4/ Be a Problem-Solver Extraordinaire - Identify an issue the company is tackling and craft an insightful proposal or visual presentation. - Example: Company expanding into new markets? Share strategies for capturing market share. 5/ Pen Your Way to Success - Compose an article or blog post showcasing your expertise and share it on LinkedIn or Medium. - Not an expert? No problem. Share well-researched insights on trending topics and add your own take. 6/ Become the Host with the Most - Organize webinars or podcasts discussing industry trends or challenges. - Network by inviting industry guests - it’s a win-win for building relationships. 7/ Brand Yourself Like a Pro - Share valuable content regularly and establish your presence on LinkedIn. - Dedicate 30 minutes to an hour daily to engage with your network and connect with industry professionals. -- p.s. - like and repost if you think this could help someone in your network ♻ #jobsearch #jobinterviews #networking

I’ve helped 100+ clients craft 1,000s of LinkedIn posts in the past 4 years and still never run out of content ideas for any profile. The solution is simple- By asking the right questions. Often, the best posts come from asking the right questions. Here are 20 questions our of the 200 that I ask myself (and you can too): - What’s one challenge I’ve faced recently, and how did I overcome it? - What’s a common misconception in my industry that I can clarify? - What’s something I wish I knew when I started my career or business? - What’s one trend I’m noticing that no one’s talking about yet? - What’s a mistake I’ve made, and what did it teach me? - What’s a question I get asked all the time, and how can I answer it better? - What’s one piece of advice I’d give to someone entering my field? - What’s something I learned from a recent failure or setback? - What’s a small win I achieved this week, and why does it matter? - What’s a habit, tool, or mindset that’s made a big difference for me? - What’s something I saw today that challenged how I think about my work? - What’s a story from my past that shaped how I approach my work today? - What’s a piece of advice I received that I didn’t follow—and why? - What’s one thing people overcomplicate that can actually be simple? - What’s something I’ve changed my mind about recently? - What’s a framework or process I use that others might find helpful? - What’s a moment that made me feel proud of the impact I’m creating? - What’s one way my industry could improve, and how I am contributing to that? - What’s a surprising insight I’ve gained from talking to my customers or team? - What’s something I’m still figuring out, and how am I approaching it? Let these be your guide the next time you’re staring at a blank screen. Pick one, dive deep, and see where it takes you. Because content creation isn’t about waiting for inspiration, it’s about knowing where to look for it. Which question will you start with today? #linkedin

0 to 241k+ on LinkedIn. I spent 2 hours analyzing Lara Acosta's content strategy. Here's the complete breakdown of what actually worked for her! Content Mix that drives engagement: 📍 45% - Personal transformation stories 📍 25% - Step-by-step frameworks 📍 20% - Data-backed insights 📍 10% - Lead magnets The secret behind her viral posts: 📍Hook length: Maximum 2 lines 📍Story structure: Problem → Solution → Lesson 📍Visual format: Text-only posts perform best 📍Posting time: Early morning EST (highest engagement) 📍Response rate: Comments replied within 30 minutes What makes her different: 📍Zero stock photos 📍No engagement pods 📍Pure value-driven content 📍Consistent brand voice 📍Stories that actually happened Content themes that got her here: 📍LinkedIn growth frameworks 📍Personal branding tips 📍Behind-the-scenes of building her academy 📍GenZ entrepreneurship insights 📍Career transformation stories Phase-wise growth! 📍Phase 1 (0-100k): Daily posts + heavy engagement 📍Phase 2 (100k-200k): Quality over quantity 📍Phase 3 (200k+): Focus on community building Current: Only 3-5 high-impact posts per week Most people trying to grow on LinkedIn focus on tactics. But here's what I learned from her journey - Build genuine connections, share real stories, and focus on helping one person at a time. That's how you go from 0 to 241k+ followers. I hope this helps!

Want to write better LinkedIn posts? ❌ Don't do the following: - share news without putting your own thoughts - write clickbait headlines that don't deliver on the promise - use excessive emojis that distract from your message - post generic motivational quotes without context or application - copy trending formats without adding unique value - write walls of text with no line breaks or white space - overshare personal details that aren't relevant to your audience - engage in humble bragging disguised as vulnerability - use industry jargon that alienates part of your audience - post inconsistently then disappear for months at a time - make it all about selling without providing genuine value These are the common mistakes that reduce engagement and credibility on LinkedIn. The key is being authentic, valuable, and consistent while respecting your audience's time and intelligence. Instead, focus on sharing insights from your actual experience. When you've learned something through trial and error, that's content worth posting. Your failures and pivots often resonate more than your wins because they're relatable and educational. Remember that LinkedIn is a professional platform, but that doesn't mean your posts need to be boring or overly formal. The best content strikes a balance between being approachable and substantive. Think of each post as a conversation starter rather than a broadcast. Ask yourself: would this add value to someone's day, teach them something new, or spark a meaningful discussion? Finally, comment on others' content, respond to everyone who takes time to engage with your posts, and build genuine relationships. The algorithm rewards conversation, but more importantly, your network will remember who showed up and added value to the community. Consistency in both posting and engaging is what builds a presence that matters. What would you add to this list? (Whisper) I would like to hear what drives you crazy when scrolling LinkedIn.

Text, static, video, or carousel, what actually works best on LinkedIn in 2025? I’ve been observing this closely over the last few months for my clients, and one thing is clear: Carousels and infographics are winning.✨ Not because they’re “trendy.” Not because they look pretty. But because they deliver layered value. When you take the time to: → Break down a thought clearly → Teach through structure → Share multiple perspectives in one post …you’re not just posting. You’re helping. People come back to save. They come back to re-read. They come back because they felt like they gained something. That’s what makes content memorable. Carousels allow you to create that “pause and reflect” moment whether you’re walking someone through a framework, story, or insight. And that pause builds trust. Videos have their place too, they’re great for storytelling and trust-building. But when it comes to driving real, repeatable value, carousels and infographics are hard to beat. So if you’re trying to build presence this year: → Share generously → Structure clearly → Let your visuals do the teaching Your audience will thank you, not just with likes, but with loyalty. P.S.What content format have you been experimenting with lately? Let’s exchange notes. P.P.S. Want to start creating content that doesn’t just get likes, but gets remembered, saved, and turns into real opportunities? Let’s build your LinkedIn content game the right way.
