Google just made bad product photography a business liability. At I/O, they quietly rolled out a major update to Search: 👉 AI Overviews 👉 Multimodal visual search Translation? You can now point your phone at someone’s outfit — and get shoppable links to similar pieces in seconds. No keywords. No hashtags. Just… what the camera sees. Which means this: If you're in fashion or consumer products — your product photos are your SEO now. Not optimized = not found. Filtered to death = skipped. Blurry or generic = invisible. This is the shift. 📸 Camera-first search. ⚡ Instant AI decisioning. 👻 No second chances. Visual search isn’t a trend — it’s the new default. And most brands aren’t ready. — If you lead a fashion brand, here’s the checklist: ✅ Crisp, clear visuals ✅ Real-world styling ✅ Diverse angles + lighting ✅ Fast-loading, structured data ✅ Mobile-first UX The brands that win in this new era will look like they belong there. 💬 Curious: Is your product imagery search-ready? Or aesthetic-first, strategy-second? #AIsearch #GoogleIO #FashionTech #EcommerceStrategy #BrandVisibility #AItools #ProductDesign #DTC #AIinFashion #FashionNUT

When I'm asked to shoot product photography, I often hear this: “We’d love it on a colorful set, and we want the product colors to be accurate.” Basically, they want their cake and to eat it too, bold color and color accuracy all at once. The problem is, colorful sets reflect colorful light that then falls onto your packaging and product. And fixing that in post can be time consuming and challenging. One of the best ways I’ve found to grant this wish is to capture the image on neutral gray and then bring the color in during post-production. Shooting on gray keeps the set from bouncing unpredictable light or color back onto the product, so every tone stays clean and true to life. You can still use colorful props and supporting elements, but keeping your base neutral gives you complete control later. #commercialphotography, #stilllifephotography, #productphotography, #skincarephotography, #advertisingphotography, #creativeproduction, #setdesign, #adagencylife, #artdirection, #photoshootlife, #visualstorytelling, #creativepartner, #brandphotography, #postproduction, #studiophotography #howto Here’s a sneak peek at how that works — from the original unedited frame to the final layered file where every element (product, shadow, background) can be adjusted, recolored, or reimagined endlessly. Color accuracy and creative flexibility, all in one shot. 🎨

The old playbook for launching products online is broken. You no longer need: - Expensive product photoshoots - 3-week turnaround times - Physical prototype shots for every angle - Professional studios for MVP validation AI-powered visualization tools are revolutionizing how we bring products to market online. Both ChatGPT-4o and Google's Gemini (paid versions) can generate photorealistic product renders that convert browsers into buyers. Here's the Prompt Framework: "Photorealistic render of a [object description] on a [base surface], with a [background type]. Every 7-Figure Brand Starts in Front of a Camera Photoshoots are in full swing at Extreme Branding for upcoming launches. Most sellers think photography is about good lighting. For us, it is about communication. Every frame is planned to make both the algorithm and the shopper trust the product faster. How do we handle brand photography inside Extreme Branding? 1️⃣ Research Before the Camera Turns On We start with keyword and competitor analysis. We study which visuals drive clicks in that category. Only then do we plan angles, props, and framing. 2️⃣ Storyboard Driven Shoots Each photo tells a part of the buying story. The hero image grabs attention. The secondary images show use, quality, and credibility. 3️⃣ Buyer Psychology Focus We plan colors and composition to trigger emotion and trust. Lifestyle photos make the buyer imagine owning it. That is what converts views into orders. 4️⃣ Testing and Adjustment After the shoot, we A B test images in live listings. Even small changes in background tone can move CTR by 5 to 10 percent. 5️⃣ Cross Platform Alignment The same visuals work across Amazon, TikTok, and brand sites. Consistency builds familiarity and familiarity builds sales. Our shoots look creative from the outside. Inside, they are engineered for performance. P.S. If you want visuals that sell before ads even start running, contact me. Bad product photos are silently killing your sales. I’ve spent 5+ years helping ecommerce brands scale with ads, emails and CRO. The biggest surprise? Most are making these critical mistakes without realizing it: Mistake #1: Using “pretty” photos instead of “conversion” photos Your product looks aesthetic, but doesn’t sell. Customers don’t just want to see the product. They want to see why it matters. 📸 Fix: Show your product solving a specific problem in context (a real scene, real hands, real use). Mistake #2: Ignoring mobile-first framing Most photos are made for desktop. But 80% of your customers are scrolling fast on mobile. If your photo doesn’t pop in 1 second, you’ve lost the sale. 📱 Fix: Zoom in. Add motion. Use bold contrast and emotion. Mistake #3: Not testing AI-generated visuals You think good photography is expensive and slow. Not anymore. Today’s top brands are mixing AI with real UGC to scale faster and cheaper. 🤖 Fix: Use AI to test multiple angles, environments, and formats, before you invest in shoots. The truth? Your product photos aren’t just “content”, they’re sales reps. Here’s what I’ve seen work: 1. Frame for scroll-stopping first impressions 2. Use lifestyle shots to spark desire 3. Always test variations (AI can do this instantly) But: The real win? Using AI to test what emotion sells your product best. They can’t hold it in their hands. But you want them to hand you their money. That's where 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁 𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗴𝗲𝘀 come into play. Most brands treat photos like decoration. But online — images ARE the product. If your images don’t sell it. Your copy won’t save it. Here's how to bring your product closer to your customers (in 7 photos) : ✅ 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁 𝗽𝗵𝗼𝘁𝗼𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸: → Showing it in use → Showing it up close → Showing it from all angles → Showing it solving a problem → Showing it in the buyer’s hands → Showing it in different environments → Showing it next to common items (for size comparison) ❌ 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁 𝗽𝗵𝗼𝘁𝗼𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗱𝗼 𝗡𝗢𝗧 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸: → Generic white-background images ONLY; → AliExpress (lame) style of mockups; → Photoshopped "lifestyle" images; → Blurry (low quality) images; → Obviously made with AI; → Stock imagery; They're not just 'images'. They're the confidence boost to hand you their money.
