Something to be proud of
It all happened this week. And I am so happy and proud that I had to share this today 😊
At first, I had the honor to be asked to be the Swiss Executive Sponsor of our “Women in Action” Employee Resource Group in Dell Technologies Switzerland. Which I obviously immediately accepted given #Diversity and #Inclusion are so important to me.
And then two of my former employees published great news on LinkedIn which let me feel proud regarding exactly the subject mentioned above…
Virginie Le Barbu published a Post describing her career and what path she followed to now become a Swiss citizen (I proposed her a job in my team in Switzerland 17 years (!!) ago) and Marine Rabeyrin received an Award as “2020 Sales Woman of the Industry”. I had the great opportunity to be able to offer Marine her first Management job, years ago.
Very proud of Virginie and Marine and looking forward to push the #Diversity cause even more with my “Woman in Action” ERG sponsorship in Switzerland.

Patrick Roettger You are a master of G&E and i'm really pleased that our ways have crossed - I have learned so much from you. Thanks again for your generosity. Please continue to be such a source of inspiration ! Take care !!
Well done!
Patrick Roettger great to read that you have accepted this role. And thanks to you I had my first management role...You are a great manager to work with, wonderful support and great listening to empower your team members and make sure they succeed.
Congratulations Marine and Virginie.
And it is not totally a coincidence :-). Not only you offered me my first manager experience but you also made sure i had all the support and coaching I needed to do it well. I always felt considered ans valued. And then you kept being available whenever i needed to. I am sure many more of your "mentee" could make the same comments. Thanks Patrick!
