EXPECT THE UNEXPECTED
Yes, Life is like that! Believe me! I can TRULY SAY, that in MY LIFE, as I have heard from so many other's, "just when you think things are just as you would like them, 'EXPECT THE UNEXPECTED."
I remember, visiting a friend who had this beautiful wrap around porch, overlooking the mountain tops. Donna explained, that she felt that it was so inspirational that I might enjoy reading it! It was called "The Eagle and The Rose!"
After reading the book, Donna said ","we need to call the man in the book, Mr. McGuire. "You need to meet him." All I could think of was "you must be kidding." I said "I CANNOT AFFORD TO GO TO ENGLAND, nor HAVE I EVER TRAVELED to EUROPE! " My friend looked at me, and said " I'm calling."
Donna dialed away, and called information for England, as if she were talking to someone she knew locally! As I watched, I could not believe my eyes! When the operator came on the phone, she gave her a phone number, and it turned out to be "the Son" of Mr. McGuire. As she started to talk, I could feel my heart pounding,not believing what she'd done.! The son said "you must be looking for my Dad, and gave her his father's phone number."
As I sat listening on speaker phone, this man picked up saying "Hello." Donna spoke, saying "Hello!" She then said " after reading "The Eagle and The Rose, I thought my friend Beth, needed to meet with you." Next thing I heard was, "Beth, I expect you to meet us at the airport, in three days!" I thought this is so crazy!" "He does not know me or anything about me.!" Suddenly, he started to say things that he would not have been able to know about my "accident" and other things in my life ."
I already said to Donna, "I could not afford to go out there!" I said to Mr. McGuire, "I cannot afford to come out?" He said " Don't YOU BELIEVE in MIRACLES?" I said " Yes!" He said "I'll expect you, and will meet you at the airport in three days!"
When we hung up, we had a bite to eat, and then chatted for a bit, and I went to bed! The next day, I returned home, and decided to take a few moments to think about what happened, and what was discussed! The phone rang, and it was my sister, telling me" our Mom was going to have her foot amputated, because of it turning green, from diabetes, and that I needed to come to NYC to the hospital."
Of course, Mom came first, before going anywhere! I said "I would come down ASAP!" Just then, there was a knock at the door! It was FEDEX! They had an envelope, and it was from a NYC travel agent, with tickets to England! I asked if this was from England? The FEDEX man said "no." Mr. McGuire mentioned that he did not know anyone in NY and that he'd never been to NY before! Where did the tickets come from? Donna was with me, and did not have money to afford tickets to England or anywhere else at this time! She was spiritual, kind, and wanting the best for me and for other's she cared about!
As I sat on my sofa, I thought I was watching a "movie". There I w"as, "holding my Mom's foot in my hand." It was definitely "green" in color! I began asking for "A MIRACLE." Suddenly, I saw my Mom's foot, clear as yours and mine." I opened my eyes, and thought "this could not be possible." The phone rang, and my sister said " Beth, what did you do?" I said "nothing." I explained what happened between the time she called, until this second phone call." She said "The doctor said "he will not have to remove Mom's foot." She then continued, saying " her foot is clear as yours and mine." I went down to the hospital to see for myself, and brought some "organic, therapeutic grade, essential oil with me, just in case." I know that aromas can help in many ways, and that lavender is certainly relaxing, and from my studies and experience "the Granddaddy of Essential Oils."
When I arrived, I hugged my sister, and our Mom! My sister showed me our Mom's foot! I could not BELIEVE MY EYES! It was as clear as mine! I spent some time "giving thanks" for the BLESSING, and "THE UNEXPECTED, and "THE UNEXPLAINED."
I explained to my sister and Mom, about the invitation to work in Mr. McGuire's 32 year old Holistic Center, and to live with his family! Given "Blessings" to go to England!" With all that went on, not knowing where the tickets came from nor who sent them, and how what just happened with Mom's foot, happened, my heart and soul were beyond belief.
THIS is ONLY THE BEGINNING!
