"BELIEVE"

I BELIEVE that certain people cross our paths at particular times for a reason. I BELIEVE that we are placed in particular places with particular circumstances for a reason.  Although we may not know or be shown why in the moment, I BELIEVE that we will be shown why at just the right moment.

With the Holiday Season upon us and a New Year on it's way I BELIEVE that sharing the following story will inspire other's to BELIEVE!

I was with my sister at a hospital where she was to have some tests prior to surgery. Since she had to fast we decided to have something to eat in the hospital's cafeteria. While waiting in line to order our food, and then in line to pay for the food,  I looked around for a table, realizing there were only two tables available. As my sister walked towards one, sitting down, awaiting my arrival, I noticed that she was talking to one of several women who were carrying rolling suitcases at the only other table available in the cafeteria.

My sister introduced me to the woman she was talking to, who said "she is a Hospice Nurse." She was telling her why we were at the hospital and about how important it is to BELIEVE that everything will be okay!

 As we were enjoying our late lunch, I said to my sister, isn't it odd that there were only two tables available?" She looked at me and said "I am sure there is a reason."

 One of the women was busy texting and eating her lunch looked up, and began talking to me saying "your sister shared a story about your personal life and overcoming what one would say was "The IMPOSSIBLE." She continued saying "how life has it's challenges and how she made some positive changes in her life to achieve some goals." That was followed by the UNEXPECTED!  She said "some of us who are in the Medical Profession were just talking about Alternatives and how they can play a part in making positive choices and changes in one's life, much like yours!." She asked about the details and how I came to learn all I know and all that has helped me. I gave her a brief synopsis, since time was of the essence! 

After our conversation, I kept thinking about how we were supposed to come to the hospital on another day at another time for my sister to have her tests. Sometimes we do not know why there are delays and cancellations. If we were at the hospital another day and time, we would not have ever met these women.

My sister enjoyed talking to the woman she met and I enjoyed sharing that which has inspired and empowered me, as well as one of the major turning points in my life that had a "silver lining" even though it was first deemed "an accident leaving me with NO HOPE!"

Before leaving the cafeteria, the woman asked me for my telephone number and information to put into her phone. It turns out that she lived near where I live and wanted to continue our conversation in depth to help herself and others.

I have prayed for some MIRACLES for some time now for myself and for my family and friends! I have asked for a "SIGN." Although most of think we make the arrangements in our lives, I AM certain that these arrangements are made by a Higher Source.

I am sure the delays and changes in my sister's appointments were done in order that we met these women and that there was a reason that these two tables were the only ones available.
