Cross Platform App Development with Xamarin Forms 4.0

The market share war on cross platform mobile app development is heating up, sounding the death knell for stand alone iOS and Android development. Microsoft's Xamarin Forms and Facebook's React Native are the main players with Google's Flutter also promising to be a formidable competitor.

Xamarin Forms is well established but there is no room for Microsoft to be standing on its laurels. In December Microsoft announced its Forms 4.0 release telling us what enhancement it thinks are required to give it a competitive edge.
