Hello World.. and Java
I had previously taken a university course on Java and struggled with little to no help. I don't know about you, but learning Java for me was confusing and I needed to ask my instructors questions to succeed. The first day of my program I was so nervous. I thought I would not be able to keep up, and that I would slip through the cracks like I did in my University class. The first meeting of the first program started with the good 'ole "Hello World" System-out. That first meeting brushed away the burnt-out feeling of coding and reminded me how much I loved it. The first entire week I not only stayed at the needed pace of the class but I practiced code and read forums and books in all my spare time. It was so fulfilling to learn how to effectively create software and know that sometime soon I will be able to put that skill to good use to ultimately help the community move forward through the advancement of technology.
Nice!
