AI tools go down for 10 minutes… Suddenly, things shift. Let’s think about it” becomes a real strategy again. Documentation and fundamentals take center stage. Problem-solving moves back to first principles. It’s fascinating how quickly the narrative of “AI will replace developers” turns into “Let’s figure this out step by step.” A good reminder: The real strength has always been our ability to understand, reason, and solve. #AI #Programming #SystemDesign #DeveloperExperience

AI is not just for experimentation anymore — it’s becoming part of the development workflow. Here are a few ways I’ve seen developers use AI effectively: • Generating initial project structure • Writing reusable utility functions • Explaining unfamiliar codebases quickly • Optimizing existing code for readability • Converting logic between programming languages The key insight? AI works best in iterations, not one-shot answers. Ask → refine → validate → improve. It’s less like a tool… and more like a collaborative assistant. How are you integrating AI into your development process? #AI #Development #Coding #Programming #TechTrends

Plot twist: I still write my code by hand. No AI. No Copilot. No Claude. Just me, the keyboard, and probably too much confidence. 😁 While others prompt, I type. While others wait, I’m already shipping. AI is powerful. No doubt. But if you can’t build it without the tool, you don’t really understand the problem. Tools speed you up. Understanding is what sets you apart. (At least for now.) #vibecoding #programming #softwareengineering #ai

𝐓𝐡𝐞 “𝐈𝐝𝐞𝐚 𝐆𝐚𝐩” 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐞 𝐢𝐧 2026 AI can now build applications faster than ever before. In many cases, developers are no longer writing code from scratch — they are guiding AI systems to generate it. (Trigidigital) But this shift has created a new problem: 𝐄𝐱𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐬 𝐧𝐨 𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐨𝐭𝐭𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐜𝐤… clarity is. Today: • You can build faster • You can automate workflows • You can generate entire features Yet many still struggle with one thing: 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐰𝐞 𝐛𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝? Because: Execution → is becoming cheap Ideas + clarity → are becoming valuable The real competitive advantage today is not coding speed… It’s problem understanding + decision-making. #AI #Programming #Developers #TechTrends #Innovation #mitprogrammer

Artificial Intelligence is reshaping how we build software but does that mean programmers are on the way out? The reality is more nuanced. AI is accelerating development, automating repetitive tasks, and redefining the role of developers not replacing them. The future belongs to those who can work with AI, not against it. Curious what this shift really means for developers and the tech industry? Everyone says AI will replace developers. I don’t think so. AI is already writing code faster than most of us. But writing code was never the hard part. Understanding problems, making trade-offs, and building the right thing that’s where real developers stand out. The role isn’t disappearing. It’s evolving. Average developers might struggle. But strong developers will become significantly more effective. The real question is: Are we evolving fast enough to keep up? What’s your take? #ai #softwareengineering #programming #technology #futureofwork

Not because coding is useless. But because it’s no longer the hardest part. AI can already write code in seconds. That barrier is gone. So where does value move? Not in writing code. In deciding what should be built. The real questions are: • What problem are we solving? • Why does it matter? • What does success actually look like? Because software was never limited by syntax. It was limited by clarity. AI can generate functions. But it cannot define intent properly. And that’s where human value now lives. #Programming #AI #FutureSkills

Tech is no longer about tools. It’s about thinking. Anyone can learn a framework. Very few can solve real problems, design systems, and adapt under change. The real edge today is not what you know — it’s how fast you evolve. #Technology #Programming #SoftwareDevelopment #AI #FutureOfWork

Skill is getting an AI to build a feature. Taste is knowing if the feature should exist at all. I also use AI to write code. Sometimes, it copies patterns from old repos The code compiles. The tests pass. But the pattern is wrong for us. AI has no intuition. It has no scar tissue from past production incidents. It only knows patterns. Productive engineers have to bring the judgment. Stop treating AI output as a final draft. Treat it as a baseline to critique. Doing this takes more time upfront. The trade-off is that you ship less slop and prevent incidents later. ☝️ Read the full article to see how to prevent AI slop: https://lnkd.in/e_R-Z78T ♻️ REPOST to help someone today #softwareengineering #coding #programming

AI didn’t replace engineering judgment. It amplified the consequences of bad judgment. ⚙️ Use traditional coding when: • Logic is deterministic • Performance & cost matter • You need predictable outcomes 🤖 Use AI / ADK when: • The problem is ambiguous • Context & language matter • Speed of iteration beats precision The best engineers in 2026 won’t be: • The ones who reject AI • Or the ones who use AI for everything They’ll be the ones who ask: 👉 “Is this problem even worth an AI call?” #SoftwareEngineering #ArtificialIntelligence #Programming #Developers #TechLeadership #FutureOfWork #Innovation #AIEngineering

Vibe Coding: "Build me a login page." AI fills in the gaps: password rules, validation, and edge cases. You spend time fixing what wasn't defined. Spec-Driven Development: You write what you want. How it should behave. What should fail? AI reads it and builds against that. The workflow: Spec (WHY + WHAT) → Review → Tech Plan (HOW) → Tasks → Code → Validate against spec Vibe coding = AI fills gaps. SDD = You control the system. Both use AI. Only one lets you lead. #VibeCoding #SpecDrivenDevelopment #AgenticCoding #AI #Programming
