AI didn’t replace engineering judgment. It amplified the consequences of bad judgment. ⚙️ Use traditional coding when: • Logic is deterministic • Performance & cost matter • You need predictable outcomes 🤖 Use AI / ADK when: • The problem is ambiguous • Context & language matter • Speed of iteration beats precision The best engineers in 2026 won’t be: • The ones who reject AI • Or the ones who use AI for everything They’ll be the ones who ask: 👉 “Is this problem even worth an AI call?” #SoftwareEngineering #ArtificialIntelligence #Programming #Developers #TechLeadership #FutureOfWork #Innovation #AIEngineering

Artificial Intelligence is reshaping how we build software but does that mean programmers are on the way out? The reality is more nuanced. AI is accelerating development, automating repetitive tasks, and redefining the role of developers not replacing them. The future belongs to those who can work with AI, not against it. Curious what this shift really means for developers and the tech industry? I always force AI to make code shorter and less complex for projects which I want to built in production, but some people tell me that tomorrow, AI will read and fix this code anyway. Do not waste time making it simpler. But here is the big real problem. Tomorrow, AI will turn 100 lines into 1,000. The day after, into 10,000. Soon, it will cost too much money to run, or the AI will not understand its own code because of complexity which grows really fast. A human can write code and forget how it works in few months. An AI can write code and fail to fix it in 10 minutes. I think, we must spend more effort on reducing accidental complexity and you have to fight with overengineering and optimize the complex parts of your system #AI #SoftwareEngineering #CleanCode #Programming

AI is powerful—but human developers remain indispensable. AI can generate code, automate tasks, and speed up development. But it still lacks what truly drives innovation — human thinking. 👉 Creativity 👉 Problem-solving 👉 Real-world understanding 👉 Decision-making As developers, our role is not being replaced — it’s evolving. The real future isn’t AI vs Developers It’s AI + Developers working together. Use AI as a tool, not a replacement. Because at the end of the day, great products are built by human minds — powered by AI. #AI #ArtificialIntelligence #SoftwareDevelopment #Developers #Tech #Innovation #FutureOfWork #Programming #Coding #AIRevolution

Me: AI, fix this one tiny bug 🤏 AI: Sure 🙂 Deletes structure Renames files Rewrites logic Starts a new architecture 💀 Why does this happen? Because sometimes AI doesn’t just fix the bug… It refactors your entire existence. Real developer move 👇 ✔ Give minimal, clear context ✔ Ask for one change at a time ✔ Review every line ✔ Test before trust AI is powerful. But without direction… it’s just a very confident intern with keyboard access 😭 The future won’t belong to developers who use AI blindly. It’ll belong to those who know how to control it. How many times has AI “helped” you like this? 👇😂 #AI #Developers #Programming #Coding #SoftwareEngineering #TechHumor

Skill is getting an AI to build a feature. Taste is knowing if the feature should exist at all. I also use AI to write code. Sometimes, it copies patterns from old repos The code compiles. The tests pass. But the pattern is wrong for us. AI has no intuition. It has no scar tissue from past production incidents. It only knows patterns. Productive engineers have to bring the judgment. Stop treating AI output as a final draft. Treat it as a baseline to critique. Doing this takes more time upfront. The trade-off is that you ship less slop and prevent incidents later. ☝️ Read the full article to see how to prevent AI slop: https://lnkd.in/e_R-Z78T ♻️ REPOST to help someone today #softwareengineering #coding #programming

If you never struggle with AI choosing poor designs, introducing bugs, using the wrong abstractions, or following its own confirmation bias, there are two possibilities: 1 - You are not qualified to review what the AI is doing. 2 - You haven’t used it enough! Asking the right questions is more important than ever today. Ask AI: - "Why did you choose to implement it this way?" - "What about this approach? I think it could be better." AI is not just a tool to increase task throughput. #IA #programming #qa

Most AI roadmaps are focused on tools. That’s the problem. Tools change. Systems don’t. If you’re starting in tech today, focus on: • Fundamentals • System understanding • Then AI Not the other way around. Save this if you’re serious about building in AI. For those starting out— What part of this roadmap feels hardest right now? #ArtificialIntelligence #AI #Developers #TechCareers #Programming #SystemDesign #ScalableSystems #StartupLearning

Gemma 4 continues the trend of AI becoming a practical tool for developers. What makes it relevant: ✅ supports multimodal tasks ✅ focuses on efficiency ✅ designed for real product use ✅ can be deployed in different environments The biggest shift in AI right now is not just capability. It is accessibility for real development work. Would you add models like this to your stack? #AI #Developers #Tech #Programming

Plot twist: I still write my code by hand. No AI. No Copilot. No Claude. Just me, the keyboard, and probably too much confidence. 😁 While others prompt, I type. While others wait, I’m already shipping. AI is powerful. No doubt. But if you can’t build it without the tool, you don’t really understand the problem. Tools speed you up. Understanding is what sets you apart. (At least for now.) #vibecoding #programming #softwareengineering #ai
