There are lots of open source tools in the market to check the performance of web applications & Jmeter is one of them. Jmeter is a tool that is used to check the performance & load of the application or website. The major real-time scenario is when a lot of users hit the website within some time period there is a possibility that your website will not be able to handle the load & it will get crashed. & Jmeter has a cure for that.
What is the Purpose of JMeter?
It is not possible to check the real-time scenario practically, for example, we can not create 500000 users hitting the website before the website is live. The main purpose of Jmater is to check the load that your website or application is handling when a lot of users are visiting your website before it goes live. so that will help owners that how much the website is able to handle the load per second.
Why do we need performance testing? Why it is Beneficial?
