Value Methodology
Value Methodology is the Function based improvement method which can be applied for anything. Depending on the field in which it is applied, it is named as Value Engineering/Analysis/Management. But to avoid all the confusion now the professional body of Value Methodology SAVE International has named it as Value Methodology.
For me Value Methodology is all about three things:
- Customer
- Function
- Life Cycle Cost through Function Cost
Based on the tools used in Value Methodology, I tried to summarize it in the below mentioned three lines.
" Value is the Vision
Mighty Function Cost Worth Analysis (FCWA) is the Mission
But Function is the Foundation & Function Analysis System Technique (FAST) is the Mortar"
