We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic full stack web developer to join our team.  We are looking someone who is passionate about their work, has a ‘can do’ approach and who believes in good design not only in the parts you see, but also the parts you don’t.

The role is weighted more towards being front-end based and would be an ideal fit for a front-end developer looking to grow their back-end knowledge. However, if you are a back-end developer with a growing passion for front-end development then we’d also love to hear from you.

What we expect of you

• Demonstrable knowledge of modern web development best practices and tooling
• A passion for innovation through researching and utilising the latest development trends, tools, and techniques
• A good awareness of coding for security, speed, and scalability
• Ability to produce maintainable, standards compliant code with knowledge of modern patterns and practices
• An aptitude for creative problem solving and ‘design’ thinking
• Comfortable working within deadlines and able to self-manage time
• Able to support and maintain existing web deployments
• Self-starter, able to work on your own initiative
• High level of attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills with an ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders from different areas of the business

Desirable technical skills

• Front-end: HTML, CSS/SASS, JavaScript, ReactJS, MVC/Razor, SASS, Node/NPM, JSON
• Back-end: ASP.NET Core (C#), GraphQL, REST, RabbitMQ, MongoDB
• DevOps: Azure, Azure DevOps, Git
• General: Understanding of web typography, design and layout best practices
