Spring'22 Internship Experience

TransMontaigne Partners is a leading provider of terminaling, storage, transportation, and related services to the energy industry. We are a growth-oriented master limited partnership that owns and operates a diversified network of midstream terminals located in strategic markets throughout the United States. Our highly-contracted terminals and pipelines provide essential storage and transportation services to our customers, who are distributors and marketers for a wide array of petroleum products, crude oil, chemicals, fertilizers and other liquid products.

While pursuing my master's, I got the opportunity to work with TransMontaigne as a System Analyst intern. My work involved providing technical expertise and supporting various integrated systems across the operational infrastructure. Design and develop the new workflows using the organization's intelligent automation tool. I also got the chance to learn more in-depth about the servers and improve my scripting knowledge. My roles and responsibilities include designing, maintaining, and improving holistic data sets, reports, and creative dashboards to monitor client operational data performance and status. I also construct and inspect the multiple virtual machines running and used for our terminal operations and ensure that all are operating optimally.

I want to thank my manager and my teammates, who helped me and supported me in every possible way so that I could understand the overall work environment.
