TERM SYNERGISTIC APPROACH. Throughout my career I have chosen to look at the task and determined all possible specs or functions required to accomplish that task. Searched or learned new advanced technology to determine is the most applicable result along with the new ideas.
Next to engineer a system with that technology and that advanced idea and put it together and test it and challenge it and make it perfect adding the knowledge of experience.
I got my real education through 21 years of real function by intuition and practical application of creativity. Then I was employed as in place standards technician where the responsibility was maned quality and required my sticker to be used for space launch.
Since then I developed many test systems through out my career. My first real project was a digital FM tuner. I designed all of the documentation and the mechanical and board layouts for this project. It became the standard for much that we use today using digital technology and did not use a processor in terms of audio and accuracy by design. I still have the first unit ever assembled with production parts. It still works.
I was there when spin was put on the bong ball, QLL was used to tune everything. I was able build test systems to see if things were truly working. My first processor was a KIM 1 but Motorola, Intel and TI was there on my bench with a hand built DRM processor.
At HP I developed software for calibrating and fault determination that unplugged a large backlog of non speck production test equipment. Including the worlds most accurate digital voltmeter.
More recently I designed, documented, built, programmed and certified test equipment to test the modules used in a 1 MW invert er and other power generators at Advanced Energy
I have worked with many of the pioneers of THINGS that have moved engineering society and I know of many things that were passed over and sent overseas and now are being used to walk past us or simply died in the minds of people who were tossed off by the empire builders or setting in basements in original form having been denied because to much investment has been the way we have always done it.
What I can qualify for is minimal, what I can do outside the box might be useful. One of those ideas is used by the entire industry today and was the result of a 3 second hall conference. It was called on screen channel id.
I wrote a book, and did not allow any editing of it. It was a true story about an oil well I drilled in Indiana on the Cincinnati arch. I have another one in mind that may have echos of Dilbert and one written long ago called the Peter Principle. And I am working with someone who is writing a science fiction about all of the things that are and will be affecting us. I sold one copy of my book and I took it off the market. Its under lock and key for 90 days because of contract to publish even tho they never sold a single copy.
I have one more thing to say here about my experience. There Was a man who’s initials were LLT who was very involved in my life. He was the father of my Sisters Husband. He knew my father and as it happened some of LLT’s inventions were used on the farm. More important It probably was the conversations I had with him endlessly discussing the properties of nature and science as it was then that was significant. At that time I was young and in technical school and he was the one who pointed out that out of the box creativity was difficult to manifest with and almost always goes unrewarded or even recognized. There were many of these people in my life as I was living at the time that a lot of it was going on.
The biggest impression on me was a massive piece of machinery in a park in down town Cheyenne Wyoming. Its called Big Boy. I have stood beside it many times tears in my eyes of wonder at the genius manifested in the creation of that machine. Its not any better or worse than all of the machines ever invented as far as what it does or how it worked. But there is a mass of knowledge probably not learned in school and accomplished through just figuring out how things work and putting together all of the possibilities that make it real. Ok maybe no different than having a computer do it but the computer does not have the intuition perhaps of hard core experience that embraces creativity and talent that it takes to put together a machine like that with nothing but a fire and knowledge.
Asked what I can do for anyone, I am not sure because thinking outside the box is here and I am amazed and excited at the progress that is ruled unusable by the box and it goes bad by making rules after the fact to solve unresolved problems that develop until the entire system is nothing but spiraling work around. It makes me want to get in there and use it to manifest with it. It makes me want to pick up all of the engineering magic decided against, wasting away because of that syndrome. I am excluded because because of closed minded and programmed empire builders who can not see the function of nature. We are charging down the path of further pollution and damaging technology like a late freight and giving advanced technology to our enemies to use on us. And our work around technology has moved us almost beyond the point of no return. What drive me is getting it done so that it will last for a while.
