Reaching Out
It has been almost a year since I have published an article on LinkedIn. It was a notification of a like that my last post received about an hour ago which inspired me to publish again. In my last article, I asked you 'how far would you go to reach for your Dreams'?
I started that article by saying to 'pursue your passions, and reach for your Dreams'. And I sincerely mean that from "the bottom of my now repaired heart".
I also mentioned how I was on track on becoming an adjunct Professor. Well I am proud to say that I have officially become one this semester (Fall 2016) at St. John's University in NYC; my alma mater. Being an adjunct Professor is in addition to the career that I have already begun with the NYCDOE.
Again my passion is education and as I am typing that statement, I cant seem to recall why I am so passionate about education.
I guess it's because my education is all I have ever known.
Work to me doesn't feel like work. I love what I do and wake up eager every morning to get my day started. I guess its true what they say... if you love what you do, it is like you aren't even working.
So get out there to find your passion and pursue it!
Go with how you feel. Do not forget that your feelings will never steer you wrong. It may take some time to find what you are passionate about, but that is better than continuing to do what you really do not enjoy doing for the rest of your life.
If you don't like something, change it and if you cant change it, change your attitude. Let whatever doesn't make you happy go. And if you have a Dream, follow the stars until you reach it.
Your Dream is within reach if you put your mind to it.

Post Script
The image for this post captures my personal Dream when I created the first ever Dream Tree in downtown, Los Angeles. That day, I had over 200 people come up to me, tell me their Dreams, how they are going to achieve their Dreams, and had them leave me feeling inspired and more determined to reach their Dreams than ever before. It was very rewarding for me to see those smiles and rewarding for them to realize "Wow, my Dream is actually possible".
On that day I realized that doing something with passion and purpose can make all the difference in the world for you.
My Dream is to make a difference, and I am happy to be accomplishing my Dream every single day.
P.S.S
I am quite unsure of the reason for this post.
I just feel like reaching out, so thank you for that like!
