The Next Step Is Enough

The Next Step Is Enough

Don’t Wait for Certainty. Get Moving!

One of the biggest mistakes I see people make, especially young people, is staying stuck because they can’t decide with absolute certainty what to do next.

They think everyone else has it all figured out. They think they’re the only ones lost or confused.

I once talked with a high school senior who was frozen with anxiety. From his perspective, all his classmates had their futures perfectly mapped. I laughed and told him the truth: we’re all just figuring it out as we go.

Nobody really knows where they’ll be in 5 or 10 years. When I earned my doctorate in clinical psychology, I had no idea I’d eventually specialize in financial psychology.

The truth is: the goal isn’t to pick the “perfect” path. The goal is to move forward.

Take the next step. Even if you’re uncertain. Even if you’re scared.

Because motion creates momentum. And momentum creates clarity.

The worst thing you can do isn’t choosing wrong. It’s choosing nothing.

So here’s the question I’ll leave you with: What’s your next move?
