My experience using Low Code / No Code - APPIAN
With innovation comes progress and with progress comes success! As we move on to the future, there will be a possibility of low code/no code being the game changer. The amount of time it saves and the amount of cost it reduces in building and deploying an application is just amazing!
Low-code development is a way to build software applications faster by writing less code. The low-code development platform allows you to quickly create, deploy, and maintain powerful business applications using visual development tools such as drag-and-drop modelers and point-and-click interface builders. No-code is typically used to create tactical apps to handle simple features. You can use low code in these cases as well, but in addition to building apps that perform processes that are essential to your business or organization's core system, Specific integration and digital transformation initiatives.
Just like how you can see the above image being played with animations and images being brought in from a site to the banner by drag and drop, Low Code development is as simple as that! It gives you so much freedom to put in your ideas and generate them immediately without any prior knowledge to coding! They are built using a visual development environment with tools such as drag-and-drop modelers, intelligent services, components, and pre-built connectors. These reduce the need to write code and significantly increase the speed at which applications can be built and deployed.
We are in a fast changing world where your ideas and thoughts can be worked on instantly without waiting for someone to code and make that site or application happen!
It was a great learning experience this semester with BUAN 6385! I went from a zero in application/site development to maybe I can say "HERO" in making it happen! The amount of material and steps provided, guidance and support given by Professor Gaurav Shekhar makes it even more engaging and encouraging to complete the tasks!

Over the spring semester, we had an opportunity to gain hands-on experience of developing a vehicle management application, implemented automation in creating and deploying BOTS using UIPATH and APPIAN RPA!
The most fun part about this course this semester were the hackathons sponsored by KPMG and ACCELQ!
Our group created an Employee Onboarding Application for KPMG and I would like to thank all my group members for their time and effort in successfully completing the case provided! It was fun being a part of my group with Brandon Chhoa, Kamesh Gupta, Saheli Roy Choudary, Sai Anish Kumar Vanka and Harsha Prabhu Motwani.
Lastly, I would like to once again thank Professor Gaurav Shekhar and our Teaching Assistant Sagar Hagawane in clearing all our doubts and rectifying our mistakes!
