JAVA BOOTCAMP EXPERIENCE
Hello Everyone!! I am happy to share my first experience on " JAVA BOOT CAMP''. The bootcamp was held on 12.03.2023 and ended at 16.06.2023.This camp was organized by Head Of the Department Dr. Periyakaruppan K sir for the first year students and the entire sessions handled by CST III year seniors. It was very help full to understand the concepts easily and their way of teaching was excellence!!
In java boot camp we typically covered topics are:
Day1: Day one was handled by Dr.Periyakaruppan sir. He taught about the fundamentals of java. After completed his session, we have a huge interest to know about the java. The next session was handled by CST III year seniors. They teach about the byte code, Java Virtue Machine(JVM), Java Development Kit(JDK) and control structure of java.
Day 02: In Second day of bootcamp, Seniors taught us about methods, Constructor, Overloading in forenoon session and afternoon they taught (This super , Static Array and Basic features of Java).
Day 03: We learnt about java Inheritance. Inheritance is a fundamental concept in Object Oriented Programming (OOPs) that allows class to inherit properties and behaviours from other classes. Inheritance means creating new classes based on existing ones.
Day 04: They taught about Abstract class, polymorphism,final method and Interfaces.
Day 05: In the final day of the boot camp, we learnt the package and Swing in java. A java package is a group of similar types of classes, interfaces and sub-packages, Packages in java can be categorized in two form, build-in package and user-defined package. Swing is a Java Foundation Classes(JFC) library and an extension of the Abstract Window Toolkit(AWT).

From this bootcamp made us to learn and practice Java programming within a short period of time. This bootcamp cohorts include students from various backgrounds. This whole bootcamp was handled by our seniors III year CST. The way of their teaching and their guidance was excellence.
