Interview Preparation

Interview Preparation

1.Perform Research.

You must learn everything there is to know about the field, business, and position you are interviewing for. This will provide you some helpful talking points. Always have a response ready when asked "Why do you want to work here?"

2. Practice your lines.

Plan a mock interview with a friend, or in the worst case scenario, practise your answers to common questions in front of a mirror. It's a great way to practise discussing your relevant expertise and credentials while also giving you the chance to practise your spoken English.

3.Know your advantages.

The abilities you will bring to a company are what a hiring manager will be interested in. Read the job description and make a note of the qualifications required. Prepare to discuss specific examples that illustrate your professional abilities and appropriateness for the role by considering your relevant accomplishments and talents.

4.Consider a weakness you overcame.

It goes without saying that interviewers adore asking candidates, "What is your worst weakness?" Choose a former issue that you had trouble with but have since resolved. Make sure you can give specific examples of how you overcame this prior weakness. Maybe you used to have trouble staying organized, but now you make a point of keeping your calendar up-to-date to keep track of your chores and due dates.

5. Smile

In an interview, positivity is quite helpful. A sincere grin can relax everyone and convey to the interviewer your real enthusiasm for the position. Be mindful of your body language and make eye contact whenever possible. Avoid the urge to criticize previous employers at all costs.

6. Give your gratitude!

After an interview, extending a sincere thank you is a modest gesture that can leave a lasting impact. Think about sending a thank-you email as a follow-up. This will keep you in the recruiting manager's thoughts and provide you with the ideal opportunity to reiterating why you would be a fantastic fit for the role.
