From Python Foundations to APIs: My Learning Journey with Coding Essentials for Agents
I have successfully completed the “Coding Essentials for Agents” course from Analytics Vidhya, which helped me build a strong and practical foundation in Python programming and its ecosystem.
This course focused on core programming concepts, data handling, visualization, and API development, providing hands-on exposure through videos, quizzes, and real-world examples.
Python Fundamentals I strengthened my understanding of Python basics, including variables and data types, conditional statements, looping constructs, functions, and working with modules and packages. These fundamentals are essential for writing clean, efficient, and reusable code.
Numerical Computing and Data Analysis I learned to work with NumPy for numerical operations and array manipulation. Using Pandas, I gained experience in understanding datasets, handling missing values, modifying data, and applying important methods commonly used in machine learning workflows.
Data Visualization I explored data visualization using Matplotlib, including different types of plots, customization techniques, and best practices for presenting data clearly and effectively.
Databases and SQL Fundamentals The course introduced me to database concepts and SQL fundamentals, helping me understand how structured data is stored, managed, and queried.
APIs and Backend Development I learned how APIs work, how to access APIs using Python, and API best practices. I also gained hands-on experience building APIs using Flask and FastAPI, along with completing a practical module project.
Overall, this learning journey enhanced my problem-solving skills and prepared me to work on real-world applications, automation workflows, and agent-based AI systems. I look forward to applying these skills in future projects and continuing to grow as a developer.
