Exploring Data Tools Through a Generative AI Course
I’m happy to share that I’ve successfully completed a Module of Analytics Vidhya's Gen AI course. This module was designed to build strong data-handling and visualization skills, which are essential for anyone working in analytics, machine learning, or Generative AI.
In today’s AI-driven world, models and tools are only as good as the data behind them. This module helped me understand how data is structured, analyzed, cleaned, and prepared before it can be used for advanced AI applications.
Key Areas Covered in the Module
Hands-on with NumPy I learned how numerical data is handled efficiently using arrays and how mathematical operations can be performed at scale. This gave me a clearer understanding of how data is represented internally in many AI and ML workflows.
Data Visualization Using Matplotlib The module introduced different types of plots and charts, helping me understand how visual representation makes data insights easier to interpret and communicate.
Working with Datasets Using Pandas I explored how to read, explore, and manipulate datasets using Pandas. This included understanding dataset structure, columns, rows, and basic transformations that are commonly required in real-world data projects.
Handling Missing Values and Modifying Data One of the most practical learnings was understanding how to identify missing or inconsistent data and apply appropriate techniques to clean and modify datasets for better reliability.
Introduction to Databases and SQL Fundamentals I also gained a foundational understanding of databases and SQL, learning how structured data is stored and how queries are used to retrieve meaningful information.
What This Module Helped Me Achieve
Looking Ahead
This module has given me a solid base to move forward into more advanced topics in Machine Learning and Generative AI. I’m excited to continue learning, practicing, and applying these skills through future modules and projects.
Grateful to Analytics Vidhya for designing a structured and practical learning experience.
