Dear Diary,
Today maybe was the worst day in my time at Profil M and especially since being part of the management team. We had a meeting with our whole team of 60+ people, discussing the tough decisions we are going to take in order to keep our business stable and running. A business which – despite many online/remote options we luckily have by now – is essentially build around the idea of people getting together in order to grow. We will most likely face rough times as many other businesses do and everybody will have to sacrifice something in the months to come. It really hurts to see this happen to people who did nothing but a tremendous job. This was a meeting which several months ago I could have never imagined to happen.
Today maybe was the best day in my time at Profil M and especially since being part of the management team. We had a meeting where our whole team of 60+ people showed the irrevocable willingness to stand together as one. In the light of tough decisions affecting everybody in the team there surely were emotions and worries on all sides. To see how these were almost immediately transformed into pure focus on what everybody can contribute to make our business stable and running was something I will never forget. The level of trust I was blessed to experience has been overwhelming. Trust in what we do, in our strength as a company, and most importantly in each other. This was a meeting which several months ago I only could have dreamt to happen.
Thank you everybody at Profil M. It’s such an honor to be part of this journey.
My thoughts though are with our many independent consultants and partners we love to work with so much in the more ordinary crazy times. They are surely affected even more by this situation – and they as well did nothing but a tremendous job, enriching us with their professionalism and engagement. We are so glad to hear that our government promised to step in at this level as well if needed. And as Profil M we will do everything we can to get them on board again as soon and as much as possible.

Hi Patrick, this is one of Profil M´s independant consultants speaking. I was quite touched by your kind words - thank you for caring. Although we´re not connected through business projects at the moment and as long as the crisis lasts, there still is a strong personal bond.
