ADAS : Advanced Driver Assistance Systems

ADAS - an electronic system in a vehicle that use advanced technologies such as sensors and cameras to assist the driver. They can provide safety warnings, take automatic action, or enhance vehicle systems for safety and better driving to reduce human error, which causes most road accidents.

How does ADAS work?

Autonomous solutions --> System on a Chip (SoCs) --> Sensors + Actuators High Performance ECU's. RADAR & LIDAR ++ Camera's ++ Ultrasound = ADAS

As simple as that, but the quality of each component calibrated with precision makes your ADAS system works for you :)

ADAS Applications:

Adaptive Cruise Control

  • Autonomous Parking
  • Adaptive Light Control
  • Park Pilot, Navigation System & much more..

Why ADAS ?

“Increasing levels of automation and driver assistance help to reduce accidents and make drivers’ lives easier,”

ADAS Levels:

  • Level 0 - No Automation - Fully Manual
  • Level 1 - Single automated system with driver assistance
  • Level 2 - Partially Automated - ADAS steering & Acceleration
  • Level 3 - Conditional Automation - Auto driving at certain levels only
  • Level 4 - High Automation - Driver can override as an option
  • Level 5 - Complete Automation - Sit back & Relax, the vehicle will do all the driver work. Zero human interaction.

How to choose ADAS ?

  1. Precision and Confidence
  2. Speed and Efficiency
  3. Calibration
  4. Expert Development and next Gen design

Choosing ADAS should help/ease your driving experience. Some ADAS level are by default in many of the vehicles to ensure road and driver safety, but still choosing to upgrade the levels depends on the purpose of your vehicle and safety rules of your country.
