🚀 Quantum Breakthrough Slashes Qubit Requirements, Accelerating Path to Practical Computing A major advance in quantum computing architecture has dramatically reduced the number of qubits required for error correction, potentially bringing practical, large-scale quantum machines much closer to reality. Researchers from Caltech and startup Oratomic have shown that systems once thought to need millions of physical qubits may now be possible with just tens of thousands.
