“𝑺𝒐𝒎𝒆 𝒐𝒇 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒔𝒊𝒎𝒑𝒍𝒆𝒔𝒕 𝒄𝒐𝒏𝒄𝒆𝒑𝒕𝒔 𝒊𝒏 𝑷𝒚𝒕𝒉𝒐𝒏 𝒉𝒂𝒗𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒃𝒊𝒈𝒈𝒆𝒔𝒕 𝒊𝒎𝒑𝒂𝒄𝒕.” Today I explored an important concept in Python that clarified many doubts for me: 𝐌𝐮𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐯𝐬 𝐈𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐲𝐩𝐞𝐬 At a basic level: 🔹 𝐈𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐭𝐲𝐩𝐞𝐬 (cannot be changed after creation) Examples: int, float, string, tuple → Any modification creates a new object 🔹 𝐌𝐮𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐭𝐲𝐩𝐞𝐬 (can be modified in place) Examples: list, dictionary, set → Changes happen within the same object --- One key insight I found interesting: Multiple variables can reference the same object in memory (for mutable types).
