Today’s learning was very insightful! I now understand that data analysis is not just about numbers — it’s a step-by-step process that helps in making better decisions. Here’s a quick summary of what I learned: ✅ The Data Analysis Process (Ask → Prepare → Process → Analyze → Share) ✅ Important tools like Excel, SQL, and Power BI ✅ How to gather data from different sources ✅ Where to find datasets like Kaggle and Google Dataset Search What stood out to me is that having data is not enough — knowing what to do with it is what matters most. I’m one step closer to becoming a data analyst 💪 Looking forward to applying this knowledge to real-world projects! #DataAnalytics #30DaysOfLearning #CareerGrowth #TechJourney #Data #Apextechforgeacademy

Continuing my Data Analyst journey Today I understood an important shift: It’s not about learning tools like SQL or Excel… It’s about solving real business problems using data. Started focusing on: • Writing SQL queries • Understanding how data connects • Thinking in terms of “why” behind numbers Realization: Anyone can build a dashboard. But not everyone can explain what the data actually means. Now shifting from just learning → to applying. #SQL #DataAnalytics #LearningInPublic

5 Skills that separate good Data Analysts from great ones. After working in data entry and actively transitioning into Data Analytics, here's what I've learned truly matters: 01. Advanced Excel — Still the backbone of every analyst's toolkit. 02. SQL — If you can't query data, you can't analyze data. 03. Data Visualization — Insights mean nothing if no one understands them. 04. Statistical Thinking — The real difference between a data reader and a data analyst.

Every expert starts with the basics—and today, I’m building my foundation with SQL. Here are some core concepts I’ve been learning: 🔹 SELECT – Retrieve data 🔹 WHERE – Filter data 🔹 ORDER BY – Sort results 🔹 LIMIT – Control output size 🔹 DISTINCT – Remove duplicates 🔹 Aggregate Functions – Analyze data (COUNT, AVG, SUM, etc.) 🔹 GROUP BY – Organize data 🔹 HAVING – Filter grouped results Understanding these fundamentals is helping me think more like a data analyst—breaking problems into structured queries and extracting meaningful insights. 📌 Consistency is the key. Every day, one step forward. If you’re also learning SQL or starting your data journey, let’s connect and grow together! #SQL #DataAnalytics #LearningJourney #DataAnalyst #BeginnerToPro #LinkedInLearning

Unpopular opinion: Learning tools won’t make you a data analyst. I spent time learning SQL, Power BI… But the real shift happened when I started asking better questions. Because: 👉 Anyone can build a dashboard 👉 Not everyone can find insights Data analysis is not about: • Tools • Fancy visuals • Complex queries It’s about: • Thinking clearly • Asking the right questions • Finding patterns that matter Still learning, but this changed everything 🚀 #DataAnalytics #DataScience #SQL #PowerBI #Analytics #BusinessAnalytics #LearningInPublic #CareerGrowth #TechCareers #DataSkills

🚀 Day 2 of My Data Analytics Journey Today I worked hands-on with SQL and focused on building a strong foundation for data analysis. What I practiced today: ✔ Writing SELECT queries to retrieve data ✔ Filtering data using WHERE, BETWEEN, IN, AND/OR ✔ Sorting and limiting results with ORDER BY & LIMIT ✔ Using string functions (UPPER, LENGTH, LIKE) to clean and analyze text data ✔ Writing queries to answer real business-style questions I’m learning that data analysis is not just about writing queries — it’s about asking the right questions and extracting insights from data. Next, I’ll be diving deeper into GROUP BY, aggregations, and more advanced SQL concepts 📊 #SQL #DataAnalytics #LearningInPublic #DataJourney #AspiringDataAnalyst

One mistake I made when I started learning Data Analysis… I focused too much on tools instead of understanding the data. At first, I thought: - Learning Excel formulas = enough - Knowing Power BI = enough But I realized something important: Tools don’t make you a data analyst — thinking does. Now, before I start any analysis, I ask: - What problem am I solving? - What story is the data telling? - What insight will help decision-making? This has completely changed how I approach data. Today, I focus more on: - Data cleaning and structure - Identifying patterns and trends - Communicating insights clearly Still learning. Still growing. #DataAnalysis #Analytics #PowerBI #Excel #SQL #DataThinking #CareerGrowth

💡 What I Realized About Data Analysts Learning tools like SQL, Excel, and Power BI is important… But that’s NOT what makes you a great Data Analyst. 👉 The real skill is asking the RIGHT questions. Instead of: ❌ “Show me the data” Think: ✅ “What problem are we solving?” Tools can be learned in weeks. Thinking like an analyst takes practice. #DataAnalytics #DataAnalyst #LearningJourney

📊 Top 5 SQL Queries Every Data Analyst Should Know Early in my journey, I used to think SQL was just about writing queries. But while working on real datasets, I realized SQL is not just a tool, it’s how you think with data. Whether it’s analyzing user behavior or tracking KPIs, these 5 queries became my daily go-to: WHERE → Focus on what actually matters GROUP BY → Turn raw data into insights JOIN → Connect the bigger picture WINDOW FUNCTIONS → Find patterns & rankings CTEs → Simplify complex problems These helped me move from “just reporting” to actually finding insights that drive decisions. If you're building a career in Data Analytics, don’t just learn SQL - learn how to apply it to real problems. 3 quick tips: • Practice on real datasets, not just tutorials • Focus on understanding logic, not memorizing queries • Always ask: “What insight am I trying to find?” I’m currently exploring opportunities in Data Analytics / Trust & Safety Analytics, where I can use SQL and data insights to solve real-world problems. Which SQL query do you use the most in your daily work? Let me know in the comments or DM me to discuss more. #SQL #DataAnalytics #DataDriven

🚀 Starting my journey sharing about Data Over the past few years, I’ve been working with data — mainly using SQL to explore, transform, and understand information. Something I’ve learned is: Data is not just about queries… it’s about solving problems. Even a simple SQL query can generate insights that support real business decisions. Right now, I’m focused on improving my skills in: • Data analysis • Data modeling • Understanding how data flows (pipelines / ETL) I’ll start sharing more about what I’m learning and working on. If you also work with data (or are learning), let’s connect! 🤝 #Data #SQL #DataAnalytics #DataEngineering #Learning
