One mistake I made when I started learning Data Analysis… I focused too much on tools instead of understanding the data. At first, I thought: - Learning Excel formulas = enough - Knowing Power BI = enough But I realized something important: Tools don’t make you a data analyst — thinking does. Now, before I start any analysis, I ask: - What problem am I solving? - What story is the data telling? - What insight will help decision-making? This has completely changed how I approach data. Today, I focus more on: - Data cleaning and structure - Identifying patterns and trends - Communicating insights clearly Still learning. Still growing. #DataAnalysis #Analytics #PowerBI #Excel #SQL #DataThinking #CareerGrowth

What people think Data Analysis is vs what it really is 📊 A lot of people think Data Analysis is just about: • numbers • charts • spreadsheets • dashboards And while those things are part of it… that’s not the full picture. The more I learn, the more I realize that Data Analysis is really about solving problems and making better decisions with information. It is about: • asking the right questions • finding useful patterns • cleaning messy data • understanding what the numbers actually mean • and presenting insights in a way people can understand and act on In simple terms, Data Analysis is not just: “looking at data” It is: “turning raw information into meaningful insight.” As someone growing in this field and working with tools like Excel, SQL, and Power BI, I’m beginning to appreciate how powerful this skill can be in today’s world. Because in a world full of information, the real value is in knowing what to do with it. Still learning. Still building. Still growing. What’s one thing people often misunderstand about your field? #DataAnalysis #DataAnalyst #PowerBI #SQL #Excel #TechJourney #LearningInPublic #PrinceOfTech

Unpopular opinion: Learning tools won’t make you a data analyst. I spent time learning SQL, Power BI… But the real shift happened when I started asking better questions. Because: 👉 Anyone can build a dashboard 👉 Not everyone can find insights Data analysis is not about: • Tools • Fancy visuals • Complex queries It’s about: • Thinking clearly • Asking the right questions • Finding patterns that matter Still learning, but this changed everything 🚀 #DataAnalytics #DataScience #SQL #PowerBI #Analytics #BusinessAnalytics #LearningInPublic #CareerGrowth #TechCareers #DataSkills

The one data metric I completely underestimated as a beginner. DATA COMPLETENESS. When I first started learning data analytics, I focused on the exciting parts; building dashboards, writing SQL queries, and creating visuals in Power BI. But I didn’t fully understand this: Even the best analysis can fail… if your data is incomplete. Missing values don’t always shout. Sometimes, they sit quietly in your dataset until your insights start going wrong. Now that I’m in my “relearning” phase, I’m paying closer attention to: • Missing fields in key columns • Patterns in null values • What the absence of data actually means Because data is not just about what is there… It’s also about what is not there. It’s a simple shift, but it’s changing how I think, analyze, and build. If you’re starting out in data analytics, don’t ignore this part. Clean data is not just a step. It’s the foundation. What’s one thing you underestimated when you started your journey? #DataAnalytics #LearningJourney #DataQuality #Upskilling #CareerGrowth #ContinuousLearning
