Sales Navigator's AI-powered Sales Assistant helps you streamline your prospecting process by delivering pre-screened leads to uncover all the right people in the buying group. When Sales Assistant generates recommended leads for you, you’ll need to review the leads and confirm whether they’re a good fit or not, which helps Sales Assistant adapt to your preferences.
Sales Assistant access
To review your recommended leads:

Sign in to Sales Navigator.

Click the Go to Sales Assistant button in the upper-right corner. If you don’t see a Sales Assistant option, the feature might not currently be available to you.

Optional: Click the account list dropdown menu in the upper-left corner to narrow or broaden your prospecting. Try getting recommended leads across your entire book of business, or focus on leads within a specific account.

Select a lead from the left pane. Each lead shows a summary of why Sales Assistant recommended them.

To indicate if the lead was a fit or not and help Sales Assistant generate the most relevant leads:
- Click the Good fit button. The lead will be saved to a system-generated list, titled Good fits from Sales Assistant, for easier access in the future.
- Click the Not a fit button. You’ll be prompted to give feedback on the lead. Based on your feedback, Sales Assistant may update your lead preferences and re-evaluate the rest of your recommended leads. Leads who no longer match your criteria will display a Not a fit label.

If you confirm a lead is a good fit, Sales Assistant will recommend your best path in and suggest that you either message the lead directly or ask someone else for an introduction. You can draft and send a message now, or click View next lead in the lower-right corner to keep reviewing leads. If you don’t send them a message or a connection request, the lead will appear in the Good fits pending outreach tab in the top left.

Optional: Send a connection request, view or copy a link to their LinkedIn profile, add them to your CRM, or add a note visible to yourself or teammates by clicking the
More menu in the top right of the lead page.

Optional: After reviewing your leads, click Generate leads on the left pane to get more lead recommendations. You’ll need to review all of your leads before you can generate more.
Important to know
To ensure the integrity of our platform and protect our members and customers, we limit the number of new lead suggestions that can be generated each day. If you receive an error that “You’ve reached the daily limit for generating leads,” you’ll need to wait a day before trying again. To review your recommended leads:

Open the Sales Navigator app.

Below the Sales Assistant section at the top of the page, tap the Review leads or Generate new leads button.

Swipe right or left to move between lead recommendations. Each lead shows a summary of why Sales Assistant recommended them.

You can draft and send a message now or continue reviewing leads. To draft and send a message:
- Tap the Edit button to make changes to the draft.
- Optional: Tap the
Like or Dislike icons to give feedback on the message draft. - Tap Send. Alternatively, you can copy the message to send another way (example: email) or wait until later to send the message.
Refine your recommended leads
If the recommended leads are mostly not a good fit or you’re not seeing enough leads:
