Important to know
Set up Sales Assistant
Set up Sales Assistant by identifying the product or service you offer, selecting your preferred account list (book of business), and choosing your lead preferences:
Review and reach out to recommended leads
Review the leads that Sales Assistant generates and confirm if they’re a fit or not:
- If you mark a lead as a Good fit, Sales Assistant will recommend your best path in: you can message the lead directly or ask for an introduction. A personalized first draft message will be generated automatically with Message Assist. To help capture your personal style in message drafts, you can optionally use messaging preferences, subject to your Privacy and data settings.
- If you mark a lead as Not a fit, we highly recommend giving detailed feedback to refine your Lead preferences settings and improve the relevance of future lead suggestions.
Important to know
Adjust your preferences
To make Sales Assistant more effective and get more relevant leads, adjust your preferences for further refinement or as your needs change. Update your product or service, target account list, lead preferences, or messaging preferences.
Take action on your good fit leads
Go to the Good fits pending outreach or Good fits with warm intros tabs to view leads you’ve previously marked as a good fit and haven’t engaged with yet. You can message a lead, send them a connection request, and more.
(For admins) Turn Sales Assistant on or off
Sales Assistant is turned on by default if Lead IQ and AI for Messaging are turned on. As an admin you can turn Sales Assistant on or turn it off for all users on your account. When you turn on Sales Assistant, the following features will automatically be turned on for users on your account, as these features are required to power the Sales Assistant experience: Lead IQ, Message Assist, and messaging preferences. Individual users will still be required to consent to use Message Assist.
