Act on your good fit leads in Sales Assistant

Sales Navigator's AI-powered Sales Assistant helps you streamline your prospecting process by delivering pre-screened leads, identifying the best paths in, and drafting personalized outreach. After you review your recommended leads in Sales Assistant, you can engage leads you’ve marked as a good fit in the Good fits pending outreach or Good fits with warm intros tabs. Leads will only appear in these tabs if you haven’t sent them a message or connection request yet.

We're gradually making Sales Assistant available, and you can check if you currently have access. We’re not accepting requests for Sales Assistant access at this time. If Sales Assistant isn't available to you right now, you can sign up for the newsletter to be the first to receive Sales Assistant updates. Please note that this feature is being tested and access may be removed at any time.

Get Sales Assistant updates

To take action on the good fit leads you haven’t engaged with yet:

  1. Sign in to Sales Navigator.

  2. Click the Go to Sales Assistant button in the upper-right corner.

  3. Click the Good fits pending outreach or Good fits with warm intros tab. Leads will only appear in Good fits with warm intros if Sales Assistant has identified a connection who could introduce you to the lead.

  4. Click a lead from the list of good fit leads that appears in the left pane.

    Important to know

    Leads won’t be displayed here if you’ve already sent them a message or a connection request. To see all good fit leads, go to the system-generated lead list titled “Good fits from Sales Assistant."

  5. Engage with the lead to begin your outreach. See the types of actions you can take in the following section.

Actions for good fit leads

You can take the following actions from the Good fits pending outreach or Good fits with warm intros tabs:

  • Message the lead directly or request a warm intro from the right pane.

  • Move the lead to another list by clicking the Saved to dropdown menu. By default, leads are saved to a system-generated list titled “Good fits from Sales Assistant” for easier access in the future.

  • Click the  More menu in the upper-right corner of the lead page to:

    • Send a connection request.
    • View or copy a link to their LinkedIn profile.
    • Add the lead to your CRM (Advanced Plus only).
    • Add a private note, which isn’t visible to the lead. For easier collaboration, you can optionally share the note with other Sales Navigator users at your organization.

Here's a tip

If you no longer want to engage with a lead, you can remove them from your Good fits pending outreach and Good fits with warm intros tabs. Go to the system-generated lead list titled “Good fits from Sales Assistant” and unsave the lead.
