Give feedback on leads in Sales Assistant to improve lead relevance

Sales Navigator's AI-powered Sales Assistant helps you streamline your prospecting process by delivering pre-screened leads, identifying the best paths in, and drafting personalized outreach. To get more relevant lead recommendations, we highly recommend giving detailed feedback when you determine a suggested lead isn’t a good fit. Your feedback helps Sales Assistant refine your preferences and re-evaluate your leads in real time.

Please note that this feature is being tested and access may be removed at any time.

Get Sales Assistant updates

To give detailed feedback after you mark a lead as Not a fit:

  1. Open From the Sales Navigator homepage, click Go to Sales Assistant and review your recommended leads. If you don’t see the Sales Assistant button, the feature might not currently be available to you.

  2. Click Not a fit on the right panel if a lead isn’t relevant to your prospecting.

  3. Enter your detailed feedback in the Why isn’t this lead a fit? text box to explain why the lead doesn’t match your needs. Be as specific as you can.

  4. Click the  Send icon to submit your feedback.

  5. Sales Assistant may ask you to clarify and confirm your feedback so it can update your preferences accordingly.

How Sales Assistant adjusts to your feedback in real time

Sales Assistant may use your feedback to update your must-have or nice-to-have criteria, which you can edit later from your Sales Assistant Lead preferences settings. On desktop, leads will display a Reevaluating label while Sales Assistant checks if they match your new criteria. Leads that no longer match will display Not a fit, and matching leads will have no label.

Keep in mind that feedback you give about Sales Assistant leads currently only affects your lead recommendations within Sales Assistant, not your other Sales Navigator lead recommendations or your system-generated Recommended Leads list.

Common examples of feedback

The following are examples of feedback you can give about leads that aren't a fit.

Wrong job title or function

Wrong seniority level "Please don't show me anyone in an entry-level position."
