    Over the past couple years in the cold email space, each year there is typically a "go to" email sequencing tool that high-level senders collectively use and agree to be the best solution. In 2022 it was Instantly.ai, 2023 Smartlead.ai came along and became the market leader — but now in 2024 going into 2025, the playing field has really leveled out amongst providers. Each tool now has their own strengths and weaknesses, some people see better results on one tool over the other. But from our experience, we've seen a few providers that reign over the rest. Here are the top 3 email sequencers on the market as of now: 1. Smartlead.ai 2. Instantly.ai 3. Emailbison.com In this post, I'll be covering the top email sequencers and discussing their pros & cons. 1️⃣ → Smartlead.ai Smartlead has been the sequencer we've used at RevGrowth.ai the most out of the 3 mentioned above, and for good reason. Here's the pros: ↳ Platform is very simple to navigate ↳ Support is great ↳ New feature updates are being released on a near weekly basis ↳ Team behind the product is amazing ↳ Platform is optimized for cold email agencies ↳ Master inbox is solid ↳ Tons of API connections to other lead softwares ↳ White-labeling options ↳ Can assign team members & clients controllable permissions ↳ Have their own deliverability testing tool ↳ Automated sub-sequences Here are the potential cons: ↳ Warm-up pool is very commercialized leading to lower quality warm-up ↳ Platform has a decent amount of bugs (been more prevalent recently) ↳ Campaigns not saving or being deleted ↳ Leads taking hours to upload ↳ Script variants being randomly duplicated ↳ Pricing tiers can get pretty expensive at scale if you're contacting 100k's of leads per month ↳ Lead upload limits are the main bottleneck here, bit annoying to have to go back to previous campaigns and delete them to free up more lead storage Overall the platform has many more pros than cons, and I'm sure the platform will only get better as Vaibhav (Smartlead founder) is very in-touch with the community and iterates on constructive feedback very quickly. They're currently working on offering private sending IPs to users as well which I'm sure will help out with the deliverability issues people have been speaking about, looking forward to seeing what they will come up with in 2025.
