Using Robot Demos for Lead Generation

Explore top LinkedIn content from expert professionals.

Summary

Using robot demos for lead generation means deploying automated, AI-powered demo experiences that engage prospects before they ever speak to a salesperson. These robot demos quickly qualify, educate, and prompt leads, streamlining the sales process by delivering tailored information and capturing buyer intent at scale.

  • Automate early engagement: Set up robot demos to greet and educate potential leads, so your team connects only with highly interested prospects.
  • Personalize demo content: Use AI-driven demos to customize what each prospect sees, making the information relevant to their needs and increasing the odds of conversion.
  • Integrate with your workflows: Connect robot demos to your CRM and sales tools to route qualified leads, record data, and trigger follow-ups automatically without manual effort.

  • 2.5 months ago, Peel implemented AI Demos & switched from SQL to AAL (agent-activated lead) model. $2M in pipe later, here's how my life as a Seller changed: 1) Before AI Demos: 'The 30-minute Interrogation' ACV: $8,500 - $23k Win rate: 15% Almost exclusively pilot or month to month Sales cycle: 3-6 months Personal observations: - My buyer intel on an SQL was super shallow (the typical: ICP-fit, account-level, content engagement) - Like most sellers, I'd enter the call knowing very little about the prospect - Most of the things I need were about their company, not the person - So, most of the 1st call was me interrogating them - Once I knew more about the buyer, I could show them my decks or dive into product - I'm good at what I do, but overall, it was nowhere near as 'tailored' as it could've been - The actual time I could spend 'selling', building a relationship and becoming a partner rather than a pitcher was minimal - It was very hard for the champion to walk away with the right material for their other stakeholders - Too many deals stalled right here between the 1st and 2nd call (as they do) - Spending most of the time on qualification + discovery made it super hard to be viewed as a true partner to the buyer 2) After AI Demos: 'The Consulting Call' ACV: $24,000-$60,000/y Win rate: 25-30% Almost exclusively annual deals Sales cycle: 1-2 months (1-2 call closes became a thing) Personal observations: - Before ever talking to a human, the buyer takes an AI Demo: it qualifies, discovers, demoes and entices them to talk to me - This happens in 3-10 minutes, it's async, 24/7, and 100% on buyer's terms (allows the buyer to make an informed decision on what next step they want to take) - Some 30% of them raise their hand and book a follow-up call with a human - As soon as an AAL is generated, I have deep buyer intel on each one of them (+20 data points, person-level data) - Both me and the buyer walk into the call knowing 10x more about each other. No interrogation needed. - The quality of these conversations is amazing. We can immediately jump into 'a consulting session'. I can provide a 100% tailored demo experience and dive into exactly what they need - In many cases, the champion has already forwarded the AI demo to other stakeholders. Sometimes they join the 1st call! Other times, I have buyer intel on them too, and understand who sits on the buyer committee I can confidently say that AI demos 5x'd+ the productivity of this small, 2-person sales team (Brannon + me). I can't wait to show you how it's impacting the productivity of AEs on bigger teams.

OpenAI just low-key demo’d a new B2B sales agent. Love the use case—but here’s why it isn’t 𝘦𝘹𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘭𝘺 the future... It’s already happening. Let’s recap: Yesterday, a leaked demo showcased a B2B sales agent that can: ✅ Capture leads from a “Contact Sales” form ✅ Enrich the lead (role, sector, company size) ✅ Check a rep’s calendar for availability ✅ Draft & send an email No human input required. It’s an exciting inspiration. But what does it 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 take to operationalize AI in a revenue org? Teams serious about automating pipeline creation need AI that integrates into their GTM motion, adapts to their workflows, and delivers real revenue impact. Here’s what that has to look like in practice: ✅ Capture leads from everywhere: • A form submission • A website visit • A CRM list • A content download • An email inbox (No more scrambling to manage replies. 😅) ✅ Engage leads via multiple channels: • Email • Webchat • SMS (Meet prospects where they are!) ✅ Seamlessly integrate with YOUR CRM & enrichment tools: • Push/pull data into your existing workflows • No rip-and-replace needed ✅ Follow YOUR exact qualification & discovery playbooks—no code required: • Customize discovery and qualification objectives • Screen leads based on fit 𝘢𝘯𝘥 buying intent ✅ Route & book meetings across different rep pools (not just one calendar): • No need for leads to fill out links—just curated time proposals • Routed dynamically to the right rep pool based on the exact conversation ✅ Hold and manage meetings: • Prep the closer with discovery conversation details • Send reminders & follow-ups • Manage reschedules & no-shows • Update the CRM automatically • Record meetings & write follow-up notes No human action required. 🙌 And these agents aren’t just a concept. They are live and delivering for revenue teams today. In fact, we’ve spent the last year building, testing, training, and refining these inbound AI sales agents to run these workflows at scale, generating millions in qualified pipeline. (We also enable our customers to curate and customize AI workflows themselves.) Curious to see exactly what OpenAI revealed, how people reacted, and a live demo of AI agents already running these plays? Check out the full breakdown. (Link in the comments.)

I built a lead-gen system powered by 60 AI agents that now replaces an entire outbound team. Booked 22 calls last week using it. The system, built across 6 categories of agents, covers: → Prospecting (ICP, buyer intent, decision-maker mapping) → Outreach (DM writing, follow-ups, objection handling) → Enrichment (company intelligence, persona research, lead scoring) → Pipeline conversion (qualification, forecasting, churn detection) → Messaging & funnel (angle creation, timing optimisation, CTA testing) → Intelligence & automation (trigger tracking, pricing signals, CRM sync) Each agent runs a specialised task and hands off to the next. The output is a fully-automated, multi-agent engine that finds, qualifies, nurtures, and books meetings — without manual effort. I ran the system on a new niche last week before building an outbound flow. The agents identified: – 3 fast-growing companies expanding headcount – A founder posting frustration signals around lead quality – A competitor’s funnel weakness – 17 high-intent prospects with matching tech stacks One click later, the outreach agents activated: → Personalised openers from the DM Agent → Social-aware timing from the Engagement Tracker → Objection handling scripts from the Handler Agent → Automatic call prep summaries from the Meeting Prep Agent Booked 14 calls in 7 days — all from cold. The use cases go far beyond outbound: For businesses: → Build accurate ICPs using behavioural + firmographic signals → Detect buying intent before prospects reveal it → Run multi-channel nurture without extra headcount → Build a “virtual SDR team” with zero hiring cost For freelancers: → Run high-volume outreach with personalised angles → Offer lead research as a premium add-on → Qualify clients before wasting hours on calls For employees: → Prepare for stakeholder meetings with AI-built dossiers → Automate weekly reporting and CRM hygiene → Track market and competitor movements in real time Everything runs on publicly available data and internal logic. It removes busywork, increases precision, and de-risks outbound. Comment “AGENTS” and I’ll send you the full 60-agent system (+ quickstart guide) __ P.S. I drop 2 new tutorials weekly. Follow so you don’t miss them :)

67% of President's Club reps use demo automation. Most marketing teams have never thought about why. Your buyers have already decided before they talk to your sales team. You just don't know it yet. They Googled you. Read your G2 reviews. Watched a competitor's demo on YouTube. Asked ChatGPT to compare you. And then they filled out your "Request a Demo" form anyway. So why are you treating that form fill like the start of the journey? It's not. It's the middle. The companies winning right now figured out that the demo isn't a sales tool. It's a marketing asset. That's exactly what Consensus built for. Frontline Education runs theirs as a standalone content piece. 17,000 views. 1,244 leads converted. No sales rep required. One construction software company made it their #1 lead source. 40% of inbound ARR traced directly back to a demo link. Not an ad. Not a campaign. The funnel didn't change. The asset did. Your demo is probably the most persuasive thing your company has ever built. Most marketing teams treat it like a favor sales does for qualified leads. That's the mistake. Thoughts? #ConsensusPartner

Co-founder & CEO of Peel | AI Demo agents that qualify, discover & demo like your best SDR/AE/SE while you sleep

Demoed Peel to a Head of Growth at a Series C cybersecurity unicorn (~$80M ARR). Their rapidly growing BDR/SDR team is driving a lot of demand but… A lot of it is unqualified demand, causing conversion challenges. The CEO is leading an AI steering committee and their number one goal is to boost sales productivity. They got their eyes on an agentic solution to pre-qualify leads and automate early-stage engagement. So she reached out to Peel. We came up with 2 plays that could help with filtering unqualified leads and routing the qualified ones + more: 1) Triage every inbound lead before a human touches them Build three AI demos: one for commercial, one for enterprise, one for strategic accounts. The moment a prospect engages, the agent asks what they care about and routes them through the relevant demo content. When they're done, FitScore comes out the other end. 4/5 goes straight to an AE. 3/5 drops into the SDR pool. All automated inside Salesforce. No more manually qualifying leads that were never going to close. 2) Personalized outbound by segment Upload a Gong recording of your best SE doing a full walkthrough. Peel clips it into chapters. Then for each outbound prospect, you can add a layer of context with a simple prompt: "Deliver a personalized demo for John, CISO of X. Show him these three use cases and ask him to share with relevant stakeholders." The agent already knows who it's talking to before the conversation starts. Any rep can do this — outbound icebreaker, deal acceleration, multi-threading with new stakeholders. Plug it straight into Salesforce or Outreach. Every prospect gets the right conversation. The right demo. No more strained pipeline. No more BDRs sorting leads.

I watched Beehiiv boost conversions by 50%. Here’s what they did 👇 I love watching customers do amazing things with Supademo. Here's what Beehiiv built. Most SaaS struggle to show their product's value efficiently at scale — especially in an interactive way. Beehiiv was really no different. If you don’t know Beehiiv, they’re an incredible Series B newsletter platform, and they were looking to generate more leads and engagement in an automated way — and came across our tool. Turns out, it was a perfect fit. Before Supademo, they’d dealt with lower-than-desired conversions, unqualified signups, and massive amounts of time spent on video creation. Here's what they had tried: • Product videos • Asking every website visitor to sign up • Traditional demos The results weren't ideal - videos were time-consuming to create and maintain, and users would often get distracted and abandon the experience. That's when they discovered interactive demos. Using our platform, they built experiences that let users test their product before signing up. The results speak for themselves 📊 • 20% demo-to-signup conversion rate • 50% higher free-to-paid conversion vs website • $10,000+ in new revenue (first 60 days) • Thousands of qualified leads generated • Better qualified prospects for the sales team But here's my favorite part: They now feature their interactive demo right on their homepage - a fully interactive product experience that lets anyone test drive their platform instantly. That’s not the only way they use it, though. Here’s how they use their demos: 1. Interactive product tours 2. Homepage > demo experience 3. Documentation 4. Sales enablement demos 5. New feature showcases As a founder, I live for this kind of thing. The key lesson: sometimes the best way to increase conversion isn't to change your product - it's to change how people experience it. // Curious to see what you guys think of their demo, so lmk 👇 Note: I'm sharing this because it's a perfect example of how rethinking product demos can transform lead generation. If you're curious about how they built this, I'd love to chat.

One demo. 60+ qualified leads. 2 weeks. Here's how this PMM did it. 👇 You may not know but interactive demos are a lead-generation powerhouse. Here’s the truth: traditional case studies often feel too polished. They’re like fairy tales, problem solved, the end. - But what about the messy middle? - The “how did this actually happen?” - THAT is where the magic is. That’s why Storylane's Demo Kitchen is so awesome. It's a creative twist on traditional case studies. It’s more than just storytelling; it’s about teaching us PMMs how to cook up compelling, self-guided interactive demos that drive real results. Take their first episode with Katie Burke Fairbank, Director of Product Marketing at CodeSignal as an example: ✅ Their ICP (engineers) hate sales calls, so they adapted. Marketing to devs is difficult! ✅ Instead of forcing the issue, they embraced self-service, building guided demos that mirrored their best sales scripts. ✅ In just 2 weeks, they launched a demo strategy that generated 60 qualified leads, influenced opportunities with companies like eBay, Visa, and Netflix, and opened doors for expansion opportunities! It’s proof that product marketing truly can drive direct impact on ARR, and increase leads. ❌ Because let's be real, no-one likes being sold to, especially not technical folk like developers. The point is to meet prospects where they are. Most people just want to see the product without the sales pitch. By giving them that freedom, Katie and her PMM team actually sped up the sales process. This is an awesome example of how removing friction from the buying process can actually accelerate it! ✅ It's counterintuitive that selling less, sells more. So it's worth you enabling your prospects to freely explore your product on their terms, because they’re actually more likely to engage, and faster. If you'd like to read a full breakdown of how Katie and her PMM team did it, this is worth a read: https://lnkd.in/e5AYUzMD Let's keep crushing it PMMs! 🤝 #DemoKitchen #Storylane #ProductMarketing #InteractiveDemos

Kicking off 12 Days of #AI 🎄 with one of my favorite things to play around with: interactive demos (and yes… this is a #PMMHacks post because TGIF). Interactive demos are quickly becoming table stakes. What’s not table stakes is putting your demo on AI steroids and letting it behave like a mini agent instead of a glorified click-through. That’s the real shift I’m excited about 🙏 . Most demo tools help you show the product. But new AI capabilities in tools like Guideflow help your demo think, adapt, and self-optimize. Here’s what that actually looks like 👇 • No time to polish a flow? AI rewrites steps, improves descriptions, fixes the flow, and makes the entire demo audience-ready in seconds. Your demo basically edits itself. • Because this is HTML-based, fully editable, you can prompt your demo to: – Rewrite copy – Generate charts, images, CTAs, and callouts – Blur sensitive data – Translate everything – Personalize for a specific lead No re-recording. No rebuilding. Just prompt → done. • Your demo gets a voice. No more recording a million different times to get it perfect, or if you're like me and your personal form of torture is hearing yourself speak... – AI-generated voiceovers in 40+ languages, synced to every step. – Don’t want your voice? Use an AI avatar. – Want your voice everywhere at once? Clone yourself (or your CEO). Somewhat scary, but also efficient... 🤣 – Your best presenter, permanently available. • Even better? The demo "reads the room." Guideflow recognizes who’s watching and adapts the experience in real time. – Marketing clicks → campaign and growth flows. – Pre-sales clicks → solution walkthroughs. – Customer Success clicks → onboarding and enablement. Same demo. Completely different experience. You don’t just build demos anymore. You prompt them. “Make this executive-level.” “Localize it for EMEA.” “Personalize it for a fintech CMO.” Done ✅ From a PMM perspective, this unlocks some powerful use cases: • Demos as adaptive, interactive content hubs that adapt messaging by persona, industry, or use case (not single, static walkthroughs) • Analytics that validate what resonates (before the big campaign) • Launch assets that feel like experiences, not announcements • Control over the narrative without needing eng to update every time • Using demos as qualification and learning signals before sales calls • Plugging demos directly into CRM and analytics to power GTM workflows And...If you want to see this in the wild: Amplitude is using it for web personalization: https://lnkd.in/eJaBdmkv Aircall is using it for competitor analysis 🤯: https://lnkd.in/epEJTaZK Learn more here 👉 https://lnkd.in/evNDqwY7

AI demo-first ads beat fancy edits. People buy when they see usage fast. Lead with the product, not brand fluff. First frame decides scroll or click. Hands, context, scale increase immediate comprehension. Text should reinforce, never replace, the demo. Before–after visuals amplify transformation and credibility. UGC demos often outperform polished studio montages. Iterate five mutations to prevent creative fatigue.

I stopped doing LinkedIn outreach completely. My AI agent does it better than I ever did. 70% acceptance rate. 54% reply rate. The results in 30 days: > 37 new sign-ups > 14 qualified demos booked > Zero manual outreach hours Here's the exact system: Step 1: Signal Detection My agent GojiberryAI monitors anyone who interacts with my company or team: > Engages with our content > Visits my profile > Follows our company page > Comments on our posts These are warm signals. People already raising their hand. Step 2: Automatic Enrichment The agent enriches every contact: > Company data > Role and seniority > Industry No manual work. Everything happens in the background. Step 3: ICP Matching It scores each person against my ideal customer profile: > Are they decision-makers? > Do they fit our target market? > Is their company the right size? Only the best matches move forward. Step 4: Personalized Outreach For high-scoring prospects, it sends: > Connection requests > Personalized message referencing their specific action or the topic they are interested about NOW. > Natural conversation starter (not a pitch). We call it "AI Icebreakers" Example: "Hey [Name], noticed you've been following our content on AI lead generation. How are you finding and engaging warm leads right now?" The Results That Matter: > 70% of people accepted my connection request. That's 3x higher than cold outreach because these people already know who we are. > 54% replied to my messages. That's 5x better than typical LinkedIn outreach because the message felt relevant to them. > 37 people signed up for trials without me asking. > 14 booked demos because they wanted to learn more. 🟢 Agent Setup time: 10 minutes 🟢 Ongoing effort: Zero 🟢 Time saved: 15+ hours per week I used to spend on manual outreach The best part? It only reaches out to people who've already shown interest. No spam. No cold messages to strangers. Just timely follow-up with warm leads who are already curious about what we're building. This is what AI should do: handle the repetitive work so you can focus on the conversations that matter. P.S. If you're spending hours on manual outreach, you're competing with systems like this. The question isn't whether to automate, it's how soon you'll start.
