Why we need Software Testing?

There are several reasons why we clearly tell us why software testing is important. We should consider what is the main thing when testing any product or application. Software Testing is necessary because we all make mistakes. Some of those mistakes are unimportant, but some of them are expensive or dangerous.

For any company developing software, at some point pressure to reach the deadline in order to release the product on time will come into play. Additional pressure from project stakeholders, such as ‘Marketing’ will not want to delay the release date as significant effort and money may have already been spent on an expected release date.

Typically, the time planned for testing the software (for example, determining its quality - quality assurance) will be reduced so as not to affect the release date. From a purely commercial point of view, this can be seen as a positive step because the product can reach the intended customer on time.

The major objectives of Software testing are as follows:

  1. Finding defects which may get created by the programmer while developing the software.
  2. It's essential since it makes sure of the Customer's reliability and their satisfaction.
  3. It is very important to gain the Quality of the software.
  4. Testing is performed for an effective performance of software application or product.
  5. To gain the Confidence of the customers by providing them a quality product.
  6. To prevent defects.
  7. To make sure at the end we meets the business and users requirements.

Software testers always go to heaven; they’ve already had their fair share of hell 😋
