Why Dynamics 365?
I am extremely excited and proud to announce that I have recently transitioned from a Dynamics 365 Consultant role to a Dynamics 365 Solutions Architect role in the Federal Business Applications Domain here at Microsoft! I have been with Microsoft for just over a year, and during this time I have had the opportunity to expand my technical knowledge of the product as well as deepen my understanding of the extraordinary business needs that Dynamics 365 fulfills for our customers. I am eager to kickstart a career in helping customers understand how Dynamics 365 can improve their business and fulfill mission critical capabilities.
Data has become the new currency, and organizations create and have access to more of it faster than ever before. Many organizations receive more data than they can consume. This leads to lack of access to the most updated information, and this in turn results in less informed decision making. The challenge is to transform this plethora of data into intelligence that generates effective actions and drives outcomes. Customers need a way to organize and structure their data to quickly make critical decisions that positively impact their mission. Dynamics 365 fulfills these needs by hosting a portfolio of business applications that work seamlessly together to manage specific business processes and logically organize data for quick consumption. Dynamics 365 merges Customer Relationship Management (CRM) with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), eliminating silos between two previously separate applications.
Beyond accomplishing the effective organization and consumption of data, Dynamics 365 offers the flexibility of becoming quickly integrated with many Microsoft products that help businesses, including SharePoint, Power BI, and Outlook. With a user interface that is consistent with the look and feel of familiar Office products such as Word and Excel, Dynamics 365 is easy for users to learn and understand. Integration with Office 365 means Single Sign-On for all applications, leading to more secure and convenient access for our customers.
The possibilities are endless. My ability to directly impact customers and make a difference in their lives is the driving force behind my passion for this role. I am eager to dive in, to start making an impact to customers, and to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more.
