Here we can see the adoption of cloud computing happening very rapidly and most of the companies consider cloud computing as the first step towards their digital transformation plan. So, let us discuss why it is so important?

Cloud computing starts its journey from 1960, where Mr. John McCarthy introduces mainframe time-sharing and it has been developed throughout these times in different forms. Cloud computing starts its major presence in the industry from 2006, where AWS launch its cloud service followed by Microsoft, Google and many other companies join this journey to help to make the form what we see today. Now it expands it’s offering from basic virtual machine, storage, networking to advanced data analytics, big data, machine learning, deep learning, IOT and many more.

Let us look, how to enhance your organization's digital transformation plan through a cloud-first strategy. As we discussed earlier, most of the organizations start their digital transformation through cloud adoption. Basically, making a cloud-first strategy create a solid foundation for their entire digital transformation journey. Traditional on-premise IT infrastructure has many issues in terms of scalability, cost, manageability and it is very hard to compactable with other digital transformation integration. Here is why cloud computing comes in to play. As per experts’ findings, through the right cloud adoption an organization can complete half of its digital transformation process and also help it to ease the rest of the process. Let take an example, we know that data is the most important asset in any company in this modern world. Companies at all sizes are generating huge amounts of data in each and every time. So, make value from these data are so important. Here things like data analytics and big data come into play. To perform this high computing intelligent process in an on-premise IT infrastructure is very challenging, complex, costly and hard to perform in terms of lack of scalability, efficiency, and operational problems. In this scenario, we can use cloud computing in a very efficient manner. With the use of cloud computing, we could run this high compute process as a service from any cloud providers in a pay as you go basis. Through this process an organization can save money, time, workforce and get the most efficient result which they can’t achieve in their on-premise IT infrastructure. This is only one example; other use cases are countless. The big advantage of cloud computing is that the unlimited power and resources which we get in a very cost-efficient manner and use the service in your own way, despite a third-party company provide this as a service.

Asper the above use-cases we can find cloud computing as a key component in every organization’s digital transformation strategy, in order to proactively achieve their organizational goal.
