DevOps is a set of practices, tools that automate and integrate the processes between software development and IT teams. It emphasizes team empowerment, cross-team communication and collaboration, and technology automation.

The term DevOps, a combination of the words development and operations, reflects the process of integrating these disciplines into one, continuous process.


What is Automation, Scaling, Infrastructure?

Automation in DevOps:

DevOps automation involves automating repetitive and manual tasks throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC). These tasks can include design, development, software deployment, release, and monitoring.

Scaling in DevOps:

Scaling refers to the ability of a system to handle increased workload or demand. In DevOps, scaling involves strategies to accommodate growth while maintaining efficiency.

Infrastructure in DevOps:

Infrastructure in DevOps refers to the underlying resources (hardware, networks, servers, databases) required to run applications.

Why DevOps is Important?

DevOps is all about bringing the development and operations teams together under one umbrella. By doing this, businesses can manufacture products and services faster than traditional methods.
