About the Role

As an Azure Cloud & DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust cloud infrastructure while ensuring security, scalability, and operational efficiency.

This role is ideal for professionals who believe in automation-first approaches and modern DevOps practices.

Key Responsibilities

Cloud Infrastructure

• Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure
• Provision resources such as Virtual Machines, VNets, Load Balancers, and Storage
• Implement high availability, scalability, and disaster recovery strategies

Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

• Develop and maintain infrastructure using Terraform
• Create reusable modules and manage environments (Dev, Staging, Production)
• Manage Terraform state using Azure Storage (remote backends)
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and updates

CI/CD Pipelines

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
• Work with GitHub Actions (optional)
• Automate build, testing, and deployment workflows
• Implement rolling and blue-green deployment strategies

Containerization & Orchestration

• Build and manage Docker containers
• Deploy and manage applications on Kubernetes (AKS)
• Work with Helm charts for application deployment
• Configure autoscaling and optimize resource usage

Security & Compliance

• Implement Azure RBAC and identity management
• Manage secrets using Azure Key Vault
• Ensure infrastructure meets security and compliance standards
• Perform vulnerability scanning and remediation

Monitoring & Logging

• Set up monitoring using Azure Monitor and Log Analytics
• Configure alerts, dashboards, and performance tracking
• Integrate tools like Prometheus and Grafana (optional)

Automation & Scripting

• Develop scripts using Bash, Shell, or Python
• Automate routine operational tasks
• Improve system reliability and operational efficiency

Required Skills

• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure services
• Hands-on expertise in Terraform (Infrastructure as Code)
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes (AKS)
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools
• Scripting experience (Bash / Python)
• Understanding of cloud security best practices

Preferred Qualifications

• 4–8 years of experience in Cloud/DevOps roles
• Experience working with scalable and distributed systems
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
