Visual representation of statistical data
Data visualization is essential in a data-driven company. It is the process of organizing, interpreting, and presenting the data.
It is composed of graphics that represent a database, telling a story that reflects human activity. I mean, the process of DataViz transforms “raw data” (here I mean the database) into intuitive images.
I cannot say that this is a trend in the corporate world, due to the fact that it is a reality nowadays. And, as Scott Berinario (2016) says in his article (the link is below):
Visual communication is the only way to make sense of the work they do.
Berinario’s words make sense to me!
Think about how an image might help you! To begging with, an image representing a database is simple, organized, and clear. Additionally, an image as a chart has a huge impact on depicting multiples analysis. It makes better decisions
Also, a Dashboard, for instance, is interactive; catching your eye and highlighting the most important key points. The interactive allows you to explore data intuitively with a better experience (active navigation) and finally, speed up the process. Think about how many insights are generated with 1 or 2 graphs...
From a dashboard is possible to monitor performance

Visual communication should be simple and made with a low code tool or not, there are a lot of alternatives. Data Analysts should take care of colors, types of datasets, layout, nature, and purpose and goals of visualization. The most important is the purpose and goals, after, the digital maturity of the audience, and finally, never forget to see the context. Perhaps a more affordable tool…
In a competitive world where Data are easily updated and a graphic is generated instantly, who understands the power of an image is the King.
