Version 4.22 Release Notes

The life of Cloud Architects is not easy in this rapidly changing and complex environment. That is why we developed the Burstorm application to help with the analysis, modeling, building and deploying of Compute and Storage, Datacenter and Network cloud services.

I'm proud to tell you that we updated our application again over the weekend. Even though version 4.22 is considered a minor update, we added some important features like the ability to define products and view results in different currencies and/or metric units.

Below are all the highlights. We are always looking to improve and expand our capabilities. Therefore we appreciate all feedback you may have so don't hesitate to let us know.

Major Updates

1. Multi currency: you can save products as native currency, and display output in your choice of currency based on current exchange rates.
2. Units: you can now use metric units as a user preference
3. In the product portal you can now view entire solution sets and navigate between product sets and solution sets
4. Added power density for data center products
5. The product library in the modeler has been revamped for ease of use

Minor Updates

1. Dashboard navigation improvements to better show where you are.
2. Add last_visited for all relevant pages
3. Allow direct url access to dashboard company groups
4. Add icon to navigate from a blueprint to the dashboard view
5. Tune and speed up bill importers, drawing boards and other components
6. Bill Of Materials (BOM) view has been enhanced and is now default for quotes and contracts views.
7. The following attributes, IPv4, QoS Queuing and asymmetric bandwidth have been added to network objects
