Version 40.0: The Debugging Begins 🚀

I was in deep sleep when someone gently touched my feet and shook me awake. Before I could open my eyes, I heard a familiar whisper: “Tadu… Tadu… Tadu… wake up… Happy Birthday.” 🎂

It was my younger brother — my siblings call me Tadu, never Taai. 💛

He has never been the first person to wish me on my birthday. Being woken up in the middle of the night just to hear “Happy Birthday” from him would have sounded like a far-fetched dream… until today. ✨

Usually, someone in the family reminds him. This time, he didn’t need a reminder.

That’s when it hit me. Maybe I really have crossed a milestone. 🛤️

Because today, I officially turned 40. 🎉

I don’t quite know how I got here — the years seem to have slipped by quietly. But I do know this: I’ve collected a lifetime of moments and stories along the way. 📖

If life were software, I’d say I’ve just installed Version 40.0 💻

It comes with new perspectives, a few patches from past mistakes, and a curiosity upgrade. Some features feel familiar. Others are still loading. And yes — there are bugs I’ll need to debug. 🐞🔧

Turning 40 feels like stepping into a new release environment. There’s the comfort of experience, and also the thrill of the unknown — untested features, unexplored modules, and APIs of life still waiting for integration. ⚙️✨

This newsletter is my sandbox — a space to share reflections, ideas, and small experiments. Some posts may be practical, some playful, some simply wandering thoughts. All of them will be about learning, iterating, and building better versions of ourselves. 🧠🌱
