A survey has come up with a report that 99% of companies are using AI as a source of the recruiting process to eliminate the application work and make the process faster and easier. whare human recruiter takes 4 to 5 glances to recruit a candidate as per their job requirement AI takes more seconds to do so. AI-based recruitment provides the option for choosing among a variety of fonts, styles, and formats. The increase in the use of AI in the HR process implies that the resumes need to be carefully navigated before they reached the email box. Nearly 500 companies along with other small businesses across the globe are now relying on ATS powered by AI.


So what the candidates should do since the companies are moving toward AI ... But there are some points that you should not do while making your resume'

Your project should not be like the class project it should be simple and easy-to-read format

𝟐) 𝐍𝐨𝐭 𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐤𝐞𝐲𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐝 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐥𝐲: Similar to how SEO helps websites to gain visibility ATS is designed to identify keyword related to your job if your resume lack keywords that the recruiter will be looking for in the candidates your resume is most likely to be rejected, sometimes candidates overload their resume with the keywords it will also get rejected because the ai has been trained in the way where it identifies and analyzes the resume .

𝟑) 𝐂𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐟𝐨𝐧𝐭: Complex formatting such as multiple columns, and graphics can confuse the AI system to avoid such scenarios your resume maintain a simple format with a clear heading, and margin for each section. using different fonts for writing might confuse the AI. Using proper bullets point and maintaining consistency can help your resume get approved.
