🌳 Understanding Decision Tree Algorithm

What is a Decision Tree?

Imagine you're playing a game of Twenty Questions. 🤔 Someone thinks of an object, and you have to guess what it is by asking a series of yes-or-no questions. A Decision Tree works pretty much the same way! It's like a flowchart that helps us make decisions based on input data.

They are easy to interpret and visualize.

🔵Root Node: The top node in a decision tree where the first split occurs.

🔵Internal Node: Nodes that have child nodes and represent a decision based on a feature.

🔵Leaf Node: Terminal nodes that predict the outcome.

🔵Splitting: Dividing a node into sub-nodes based on a feature.

🔵Pruning: Removing parts of the tree to avoid overfitting.
