Transform the business
“Digital transformation” is being one of the most popular concepts that are being used by many CIOs to increase their IT budget. CEOs and CFOs are investing money on IT projects to support the “digital transformation” of their companies; but is it the real “Digital Transformation” that big consultancies and experts are talking about?
The meaning of Digital Transformation is based mainly on Transformation of business, and it is not just about an implementation of new information systems. We must rethink how our company works but from the perspective of “customer-centric” in a #VUCA environment and adding the benefits of the new technologies. What will be necessary to get if we want to achieve the success in this long and hard way to transform our businesses?:
- Believing of that Digital Transformation is necessary to survive in the future
- A Transformed Business Vision linked to the Information Society’s new age.
- An adapted business mission to the new concepts like “customer centric”, “added value”, “continual improvement”, “Emotional intelligence”, “Automation and Artificial Intelligence”, …
- An adequate culture of business innovation and agile adaptability to the needs of the market implemented in the organization
Adaptability is mandatory to get success because markets, environments, society, … are changing quickly to unexpected directions. The power of technology with a culture that embraces the change will show new ways of doing business, more profitable and more adaptive to cover the needs of the market and generate new and more innovative services.
Reshape your processes to be “customer oriented”, design them to embrace the new technologies that will help to go into the new Enterprise 4.0 paradigm and apply a radical thinking to define new and innovative businesses.
Don’t walk alone, ask for the support of “young” - “digital” people because conservative ways of thinking cannot be part of this journey.
