Successfully Completed NPTEL Certification in Database Management System

I’m very happy to share that I have successfully completed the NPTEL Online Certification course on Database Management System (DBMS), conducted by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur and supported by the Ministry of Education, Government of India.

This was an 8-week course from July to September 2025, where I learned many important topics like data models, ER diagrams, normalization, SQL queries, indexing, and transactions. These lessons helped me understand how databases are created, organized, and managed in real-life systems.

Throughout the course, I worked on online assignments and appeared for a proctored exam, which helped me test my knowledge and improve my technical skills. I scored 58% overall (Assignments: 20.42/25, Exam: 37.5/75), and I’m proud to be one among 7186 certified students who completed this course successfully.

This course has made me more confident in my database knowledge and has inspired me to learn more about advanced database concepts, data analytics, and data management in the future.

I sincerely thank NPTEL, SWAYAM, and IIT Kharagpur for providing such a great learning platform that allows students across India to gain high-quality education from top professors.

I sincerely thank my Head of Department (HOD) Dr.Lekhaa T.R , Cluster Head Dr.Sumathi Karthikeyan , and Mentor Vaishnavi R for their continuous guidance, encouragement, and valuable support throughout this journey.
