Stop Asking If AI Will Replace You - Ask How It Will Change You
Look, I get it. You're nervous. AI tools are popping up everywhere, and everyone's debating whether they'll take your job. But I'm here to tell you: you're asking the wrong question.
Wondering if AI will replace you is a defensive stance that keeps you stuck. It's like trying to push a river upstream – exhausting and ultimately pointless.
The technology is here. It's evolving. That's just reality.
The Real Question
What you should be asking is: "How can I use AI to become better at what I do?"
I've been in technology and leadership for years, and I've watched countless tools come and go. The professionals who thrive aren't the ones who resist change – they're the ones who grab the new tools and reshape their work around them.
Redefining Your Role
Your job description has never been set in stone. Think about it:
Did these tools eliminate these professions? No. They transformed them.

What This Really Means For You
Instead of fearing AI, start playing with it. Use it to:
The professionals who will struggle are those who define themselves by the tasks AI can do better. The ones who will thrive are those who redefine themselves around what AI can't do: bringing genuine human judgment, creativity, and emotional intelligence to their work.
Moving Forward
Stop wasting energy resisting the inevitable. Start experimenting with AI tools today – not next month, not when you "have time."
Your future self isn't the person who successfully avoided AI. It's the person who mastered it and used it to become something new and better.
The river is flowing. You can fight it and drown, or you can learn to swim with it and reach places you never thought possible.
What's your choice?

Andre - Great insight on this! I was definitely in the first camp for awhile, and avoided it like the plague! But once I started seeing its potential to make my job easier, and let me focus on the my 'value add' as human, its been a game changer!
AI won't replace people, people using AI will replace people.
