Some Technical Differences Between ReactJS and AngularJS

The following are some of the technical differences between Reactjs and AngularJs:

1.      Type System: ReactJs is written in JavaScript, but uses JSX (a JavaScript XML extension) for a more HTML-like syntax. AngularJs on the other hand primarily uses TypeScript, a superset of JavaScript that adds static typing for improved code maintainability and catching errors early.

2.      Data Binding: ReactJs uses a one-way data binding approach. Changes to the state trigger a re-render of the component with the updated data. This simplifies reasoning about data flow but requires explicit management of state updates. AngularJs employs two-way data binding. Changes to the UI elements directly update the underlying model, and vice versa.

3.      Framework vs Library: ReactJs is a framework or library for building UI components. It provides a flexible foundation for structuring your application and managing state, but requires additional libraries or frameworks for tasks like routing and dependency injection, while AngularJs is a JavaScript framework that enforces a specific architectural pattern (MVVM - Model-View-ViewModel) and provides a comprehensive set of features for building complex web applications, including routing, dependency injection, forms, and more.

At HNG, I expect to hone in on the possibilities of ReactJS, and the numerous applications it offers in the field of software engineering. You can check them out at https://hng.tech/internship, or https://hng.tech/premium and I’m sure it’ll be worth your while.
