Should we be afraid of Artificial Intelligence?
The digital era in which we live is an era filled with not only amazing promises but also challenges. Self-driving cars, machines responding to customer enquiries etc. are all manifestations of the new way of life which businesses and we must adopt to.
Does that mean that either we adopt or perish?
Based upon my understanding of the market developments, I believe that machines and humans will co-exists - each working on their own realm and trying to solve their own challenges.
But what happens if there is a direct conflict? In my opinion, if there ever is a conflict of interest between machines and humans, we will lose out.
To give an example, humans will be more like ants in the present scenarios. Currently, we don’t harm ants or ant-hills till they do not interfere with our normal living. But when ants start encroaching either our homes or gardens, we just trample them, NO GUILT FEELING!

Similarly, a stage will come when machines will be cool to exist with humans, till humans, either knowingly or unknowingly, run into machines, and then situation will be as Elon Musk said “Artificial Intelligence is the greatest risk we face as a civilization”.
Think about it!
