SharePoint Online Solution Developer
SharePoint Online Solution Developer sought to join global leader founded at the end of the 19th century. They have grown exponentially and currently employ over 4500 people in offices located in over 45 countries across 5 continents. Their global footprint demands a strong E-Business focus. As such they are looking for an individual, based in South Africa, who will form part of their E-Business team and will lead the creation and enhancement of centralized solutions and workflows, simplify management while addressing the diverse needs of the company’s business units. This entails collaborating with the SharePoint Functional Analyst to identify business requirements and will independently manage the design and development process as well as providing comprehensive support for ongoing SharePoint initiatives within the company.
Key duties will include designing end‐to‐end SharePoint solutions, using the Power Platform, that improve collaboration, productivity, and knowledge sharing; implementing solutions with multiple data sources; creating SharePoint sites, libraries, and org‐wide templates; proposing best practices to simplify the daily use of SharePoint applications by the business; helping plan and schedule SharePoint projects deliverables, goals, and milestones; designing and maintaining technical documentation; providing training and support to the end-users; and integrating non‐SharePoint related services into SharePoint applications.
To apply you should have extensive experience as a SharePoint Developer using SharePoint Online and the Microsoft Power Platform. You should be well versed in C#, JSON, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and have a good understanding of UI/UX concepts and design frameworks. You will need to have experience with cross‐platform mobile application development and should be proficient with creating PowerShell scripts. Experience with ShareGate is an advantage.
The role will suit someone with a collaborative working style and exceptional communication skills. (Fluent in English essential – French an asset.) You will need strong organizational and presentation skills and excellent problem‐solving skills from both a business and technical perspective. You must have the ability to meet deadlines and provide quick turnaround on projects when necessary. You should be curious about advances in technology and using it to enhance the user experience.
