Senior Full Stack Python Engineer

Hello! We, Don’t Panic Recruiting Agency, are looking for a Python Full-Stack Engineer for our client Cadence.

Cadence Translate was founded in 2014 with a unique goal in mind: to enable better business by connecting the private sector with world-class translators.

They strive to be the language solution that solves any language problem whenever and wherever business is being done, whether it’s a due diligence call for a hedge fund purchasing stakes in a Brazilian mining company, an M&A meeting between a US private equity firm, and a French petrochemical startup, or even just a transcription of a call on the future of the German auto industry in China.

Responsibilities:

Problem Solving & Analytical Thinking:

• Analyze requirements, identify potential issues, and propose effective solutions.
• Take responsibility for the implementation of significant features or projects.

Ownership:

• Own, implement, and deliver medium-sized features or projects within a team.
• Proactively identify new opportunities and advocate for and implement improvements to the current state of projects.
• Take responsibility for decisions and learn from mistakes, taking action to prevent them in the future.
• Effectively escalate problems with a wider scope, supporting their resolution to a successful conclusion.
• Respond urgently to operational issues, owning their resolution within the sphere of responsibility.

Communication and Collaboration:

• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Communicate project progress, issues, and technical updates to stakeholders.

Innovation and Research:

• Research and propose innovative technologies and solutions to enhance the product’s functionality, user experience, and efficiency.
• Demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning.

Requirements:

• You have at least 5+ years of experience developing commercial code in Python.
• Full stack skills with JS and React are required.
• Experience with AWS services (Fargate, S3, RDS).
• Good understanding of DevOps (Docker, Terraform, CI/CD).
• Understanding how to build logging and monitoring systems.
• Experience with Salesforce API, Zoom API, Slack API, Github, PostgreSQL, and SQLAlchemy, fast-api.
• You enjoy developing the careers of engineers who report to you.
• English C1.
